theres no real word to translate that i think,
But its closes to feeling bad for them, so you feel compassion for their suffering?
It is when you see someone hurt themself and you feel the pain yourself
Can also mean pity but that's not how I mean it
german language has a lot of weird feeling words

IF it was avoidable,
People that had no choice in the matter are sad, and i share their pain 😦
but if its one of those "hold my beer" moments, i'll be getting hard before i feel bad for them 😄
