I usually have top of the line stuff.
6 to 8 medium onions (yellow or sweet)
4 cups beef broth
1/8 lb. butter
In a saucepan, sauté onions in melted butter. When onions are browned, add beef broth and simmer for an hour. Put croutons in individual oven-proof bowls; pour soup over top. Cover top with a good cheese (sharp, provolone, mozzarella, etc.)
This is absolutely the easiest soup to make.

so you have the soup but without the bread/cheese so when coming week you fell like having some soup you can easily make it in minutes, even better you can easilyy alter the cheese or bread you put in
