Probably better to ask if this news source, "Zero Hedge" is credible.

Basically the ruling is that its legal to repair your own stuff, despite pushes from corporations to make it not so. Still doesn't help with the physical issues/DRMs/etc put in to make it harder to repair, but its still good.
Though that last one isnt as bad as i do know enough people that understand at least some nuance to the issue.
So that gives me at least some hope that environmentalism doesnt HAVE to be so divisive.
The dems need to be beaten so badly the party collapses and a new more moderate one can be built out of its ashes.
