You aren't some random nationality because you fell out of lady across a certain geographic line and you aren't alive or a person or whatever because you fell out of a vagina

2020-02-25 23:05:40 UTC

LMAO

skellington is still a fetus

2020-02-25 23:08:20 UTC

yes

2020-02-25 23:09:31 UTC

I think some CNN reporters need to be aborted very post birth

2020-02-25 23:11:27 UTC

yes

2020-02-25 23:12:25 UTC

Yeah the "post-partum abortion" meme is really just infanticide

2020-02-25 23:12:58 UTC

As soon as the fetus is outside of the body the pregnancy is effectively over, so at that point you aren't aborting a pregnancy, you're just killing undesirable offspring

2020-02-25 23:13:41 UTC

bundle of cells that has exited the womb you mean

2020-02-25 23:19:51 UTC

There is a discussion to be had about when personhood begins. I don't like abortions of healthy white fetuses without good reasons (the vast majority of cases is for shitty reasons) like having been raped regardless of the fetus being a person or not

2020-02-25 23:20:29 UTC

Personhood should probably begin at conception as a general rule

2020-02-25 23:20:36 UTC

Seems like it makes the most sense

2020-02-25 23:21:02 UTC

I think that doesn't really make sense

2020-02-25 23:21:28 UTC

A fertilized egg isn't a chicken

2020-02-25 23:21:42 UTC

Technically its just a very young chicken

2020-02-25 23:22:05 UTC

I wouldn't call it a chicken

2020-02-25 23:22:09 UTC

Why?

2020-02-25 23:22:23 UTC

Because it's a fertilized egg

2020-02-25 23:22:30 UTC

Not an animal

2020-02-25 23:23:03 UTC

Obviously at some point it does become a chicken

2020-02-25 23:23:16 UTC

The egg stage is just the early stage ( one might say larval stage :^) ) of the chicken. The egg is a evolutionary protective adaptation for the animal inside which permits it safety to grow and mature.

2020-02-25 23:23:27 UTC

The egg shell is just like a playpen for a baby chicken basically

2020-02-25 23:23:42 UTC

Is a semen half a person then?

2020-02-25 23:23:58 UTC

Its a necessary ingredient to begin human life

2020-02-25 23:24:15 UTC

Then so is a zygote

2020-02-25 23:24:24 UTC

A zygote is a very young human

2020-02-25 23:24:36 UTC

That's nonsense

2020-02-25 23:24:55 UTC

The human lifespan covers the moment of cell fertilization to the moment of death

2020-02-25 23:24:56 UTC

It's hard to draw a line Kermit

2020-02-25 23:25:03 UTC

Your life doesn't start 9 months after conception lol

2020-02-25 23:25:17 UTC

No more than you're alive 9 months after death

2020-02-25 23:25:51 UTC

Life is not personhood

2020-02-25 23:26:28 UTC

A goldfish isn't a person just because it's alive

2020-02-25 23:27:11 UTC

Right personhood is just the social recognition of a life like a human life

2020-02-25 23:27:26 UTC

No

2020-02-25 23:27:28 UTC

You can just legally take away anyone's personhood but that doesn't change the facts of their being alive etc

2020-02-25 23:27:45 UTC

Personhood is entirely separate from being alive

2020-02-25 23:27:58 UTC

Somebody who is braindead is alive

2020-02-25 23:28:13 UTC

But lacks personhood for the moment

2020-02-25 23:28:23 UTC

Well you couldn't say "somebody" you'd have to say "something"
