Farming basically just has a higher carrying capacity

2020-02-25 22:16:22 UTC

Which allowed farmers to win the numbers game

2020-02-25 22:16:42 UTC

Thus spreading throughout Europe

2020-02-25 22:16:55 UTC

Not really

2020-02-25 22:16:57 UTC

It's also really low risk

2020-02-25 22:17:09 UTC

Hunter gatherers had sophisticated stone tools etc.

2020-02-25 22:17:11 UTC

No real chances of being hurt by prey or tripping over a root

2020-02-25 22:17:36 UTC

Just the high risk of suicide as you realize you've unwittingly turned yourself into a caloric intake cog in the great machine of liberalism

2020-02-25 22:17:53 UTC

And that by comfortably farming turnips you've consigned untold billions to hell on earth

2020-02-25 22:18:24 UTC

First farmer be like "I am become death, destroyer of worlds"

2020-02-25 22:19:48 UTC

interestingly the sort of hunter gatherer vs. settled farmers dynamic got revived with horse breeding and nomadism

2020-02-25 22:19:51 UTC

Farmers are the spiritual successors of Cain and will forever live in the shadow of god's glory and those who embrace natural hierarchy AMEN 🙏

2020-02-25 22:21:35 UTC

That's why Indo European shepherds/farmers once they domesticated the horse immediately abandoned their inferior lifestyle and brought salvation to Evropa in their glorious chariots

2020-02-25 22:24:54 UTC

Afaik the chariots are archeologically attested to originate with the Indoeuropean people which allowed them to spread their language and genes through Europe, Iran, Turkey, India etc.

2020-02-25 22:25:22 UTC

It's said they were jsut shepherds/farmers before they domesticated the horse

2020-02-25 22:26:49 UTC

tfw all churches here are jewed

2020-02-25 22:59:40 UTC

I'm anti abortion generally but the sentiment there seems similar to magical dirt citizenship thinking

2020-02-25 23:00:33 UTC

You aren't some random nationality because you fell out of lady across a certain geographic line and you aren't alive or a person or whatever because you fell out of a vagina

2020-02-25 23:05:40 UTC

LMAO

skellington is still a fetus

2020-02-25 23:08:20 UTC

yes

2020-02-25 23:09:31 UTC

I think some CNN reporters need to be aborted very post birth

2020-02-25 23:11:27 UTC

yes

2020-02-25 23:12:25 UTC

Yeah the "post-partum abortion" meme is really just infanticide

2020-02-25 23:12:58 UTC

As soon as the fetus is outside of the body the pregnancy is effectively over, so at that point you aren't aborting a pregnancy, you're just killing undesirable offspring

2020-02-25 23:13:41 UTC

bundle of cells that has exited the womb you mean

2020-02-25 23:19:51 UTC

There is a discussion to be had about when personhood begins. I don't like abortions of healthy white fetuses without good reasons (the vast majority of cases is for shitty reasons) like having been raped regardless of the fetus being a person or not

2020-02-25 23:20:29 UTC

Personhood should probably begin at conception as a general rule

2020-02-25 23:20:36 UTC

Seems like it makes the most sense

2020-02-25 23:21:02 UTC

I think that doesn't really make sense

2020-02-25 23:21:28 UTC

A fertilized egg isn't a chicken

2020-02-25 23:21:42 UTC

Technically its just a very young chicken

2020-02-25 23:22:05 UTC

I wouldn't call it a chicken

2020-02-25 23:22:09 UTC

Why?

2020-02-25 23:22:23 UTC

Because it's a fertilized egg

2020-02-25 23:22:30 UTC

Not an animal

2020-02-25 23:23:03 UTC

Obviously at some point it does become a chicken

2020-02-25 23:23:16 UTC

The egg stage is just the early stage ( one might say larval stage :^) ) of the chicken. The egg is a evolutionary protective adaptation for the animal inside which permits it safety to grow and mature.
