Specifically, don't expect ME to pay for it.
I don't get the whole mantra about 'My Body, My Choice'.
Because, when dealing with an unborn child at any point past the egg implating you're no longer dealing with 'your body'. It has different DNA than you do.
I see the argument for children of rape because it's like, it'll tangibly psychologically fuck the mother up and the child will be unloved/neglected/abused as a vessel or thrown to the adoption system
But "Oh no I didn't use protection, ah well best go get an abortion haha no biggie" is callous and cold
I came across Tim through his video on Michelle Wolf
COMPLETELY agreed
In an ideal world abortions would be unnecessary so the issue's morally grey for me but generally I'm pro-life
I, for the most part, wouldn't be opposed to 'prescribed' abortions
As in, a doctor can show, medically, that it was a life-saving procedure
but as it is, it's generally used less to save someone's life, and more to save someone's lifestyle.
Yeah
"But raising a child would cost ridiculous amounts of money, money I don't have"
You know what's more expensive
I can't even take expense into the equation myself.
The entire point of it is hedonism.
*less
condoms?
Yes, sorry, lag
Birth control pills?
Including but not limited to really ugly glasses.
Those feels when I'm a 19 year old virgin who's been in catholic schooling all his life with more sex ed knowledge than the far left combined
👌
wait wait wait, you had more sex ed than abstinence only?
was this knowledge actually learned in school or the internet?
He googled a woman once.
In school they actually were like "OKAY so ONE DAY you'll be married and oh fuck it you're british teenagers okay so here's the lowdown"
lmao
It's why the UK has drug information sites even though drugs are illegal
Better you do shit against the rules *safely*
see, its because you are british. Vs the US which would result in more likely being Hugh Laurie.
I don't appreciate that one bit
Whatever happened to adoption? That used to be encouraged as a more ethical choice for those ill-equipped to care for children.
It's fucked. Foster care AFAIK is more fucked though
All I've heard is that adoption is super expensive.
I wonder how many kids get adopted vs. stay in foster care.
Its ungodly expensive i heard
especially for gay couples seeking to adopt
