Yeah

2018-09-25 00:22:37 UTC

Progressives control academia, academia controls language

2018-09-25 00:22:53 UTC

There's the first problem

2018-09-25 00:23:07 UTC

Quit letting people take language away

2018-09-25 00:24:03 UTC

Most of the cancerous ideologies come about because someone changed a definition of a word or two.

2018-09-25 00:24:45 UTC

academia controls language HA

2018-09-25 00:24:49 UTC

Hell, the negative connotations behind 'liberal' come from people who shunt liberty taking it for their own.

2018-09-25 00:24:51 UTC

you have never met a southerner apparently

2018-09-25 00:29:57 UTC

lol

2018-09-25 00:31:10 UTC

But it holds true for some of the routines like "racism = power + prejudice" "uhh no racism is just prejudice", they tend to win battles like that

2018-09-25 00:31:43 UTC

"undocumented migrant"

2018-09-25 00:31:53 UTC

"assault weapon"

2018-09-25 00:31:59 UTC

"hate speech"

2018-09-25 00:32:18 UTC

a new one that you'll hear soon is "robust expression"

2018-09-25 00:32:31 UTC

I'm gonna look up robust expression and be prepared

2018-09-25 00:32:34 UTC

it'll be used in place of "free speech"

2018-09-25 00:33:14 UTC

the idea being that even though some speech is banned, what you have left can still be used for "robust expression"

2018-09-25 00:36:10 UTC

I know its a joke, but that stuff is straight out of 1984 "Newspeak" stuff. Its really hard not to see them using 1984 as a manual.

2018-09-25 00:37:15 UTC

Here's the kicker, though...

2018-09-25 00:37:46 UTC

The ones opposing Trump think they're the protagonists in 1984

2018-09-25 00:38:32 UTC

they don't win these battles because the control academia. Its because they scream the loudest

2018-09-25 00:39:12 UTC

and the opposition has for too long just ignored them. opting for the "ignore and sometimes say sure" to shut them the hell up

2018-09-25 00:39:17 UTC

Hillary Clinton wrote in her book she thought the lesson of 1984 was that people didn't listen enough to leaders, the press and experts.

2018-09-25 00:39:39 UTC

how tf did they take that away?

2018-09-25 00:40:08 UTC

Maybe to them Winston was the villain of that book.

2018-09-25 00:40:37 UTC

that is disturbing given that this is the part who claims to be for gay rights

2018-09-25 00:40:44 UTC

or ironically

2018-09-25 00:41:05 UTC

but hey, when society raises a whole generation of adult children, what do you expect

2018-09-25 00:41:13 UTC

I had one guy the other day say that Ted Cruz sounds like the pigs from Animal Farm.

2018-09-25 00:41:19 UTC

"tell me what to do daddy government, i never learned to think for myself or defend myself. you need to defend me"

2018-09-25 00:41:20 UTC

@Grenade123 a big part of it is academia though. not anything of academic merit but the fact that they can basically recruit and indoctrinate people from junior high onwards.

2018-09-25 00:41:32 UTC

In the end Winston becomes an NPC too

2018-09-25 00:41:45 UTC

they screamed the loudest and were given some shit to shut up

2018-09-25 00:42:09 UTC

like a bad parent giving a spoiled brat candy to shut up

2018-09-25 00:42:41 UTC

You can scream louder when academia gives you a platform and Antifa doesn't blockade your events.

2018-09-25 00:43:10 UTC

and then guide them through their entire careers. it's a pipeline. they pick out promising candidates in high school, give them scholarships and mentorship programs, surround them with like-minded people in university (with tons of extra-curricular activist activities), and fast-track them through certain useful degrees like teaching and law.

2018-09-25 00:43:16 UTC

not when your platform goes bankrupt and closes

2018-09-25 00:43:47 UTC

the left are in the process of destroying all institutions they take power in, while alternatives are popping up.

2018-09-25 00:43:58 UTC

I looked at some of the membership of BAMN and many of their highly placed people were chosen when they were 15-16, and guided all the way to a placement in a law firm.

2018-09-25 00:44:13 UTC

Something happened where the left stopped policing their own. President Kennedy was very anti-communist, they used to know when they were going to far. The right still polices their extremes the left do not. I blame those who should be policing their side (or at least leaving it).

2018-09-25 00:44:23 UTC

look at comicsgate, main stream comics are dying while alternatives are rocketing upwards and making bank while delivering good product
