You've just held it as self evident

2018-10-19 18:40:41 UTC

btw 30 thousand people voted that way

2018-10-19 18:41:09 UTC

And it makes no difference that they did

2018-10-19 18:41:47 UTC

It has almost the exact same effect as not voting

2018-10-19 18:41:58 UTC

and you i have provided plenty you just dont want to hear becuase im guessing you are one of those people who doesnt vote

2018-10-19 18:42:11 UTC

No, you've just said it's the only way to change things

2018-10-19 18:42:23 UTC

And then when asked what you changed you backed up to "well at least I voted"

2018-10-19 18:42:54 UTC

becuase who you vote for puts the changes in place

2018-10-19 18:43:09 UTC

No, who gets the majority of votes does, and only if they're on the ballot

2018-10-19 18:43:23 UTC

But you defended spoiled ballots, and losing votes, which don't do that

2018-10-19 18:43:59 UTC

becuase you are still contributing to the voting process

2018-10-19 18:44:46 UTC

What does voting for Harambe contribute?

2018-10-19 18:45:16 UTC

becuase that shows you dont support either canidayes

2018-10-19 18:45:21 UTC

The argument is 'You don;t have a right to complain if you don't vote'. I disagree, if you are so frustrated with politics that you can't find a single party to vote for that means that their is no one out there that you think is willing to act in your interest and you can complain about that.
Voting third party is a better way of showing your frustration than not voting as you can't be distinguished from someone that doesn't care.
You have a right to complain coz it is the parties fault for not engaging enough with the populous.

2018-10-19 18:45:26 UTC

No it just shows you spoiled a ballot

2018-10-19 18:45:43 UTC

no you said make a stand

2018-10-19 18:45:45 UTC

Just like not voting just shows you didn't vote

2018-10-19 18:45:59 UTC

Both can mean that you disapprove of the available candidates

2018-10-19 18:46:01 UTC

no it shows lazyness

2018-10-19 18:46:13 UTC

So does picking the first name on a list

2018-10-19 18:46:19 UTC

But you defended that because it's voting

2018-10-19 18:46:34 UTC

how is it lazy

2018-10-19 18:46:38 UTC

So going somewhere to mindlessly check a box is fine, that's not lazy?

2018-10-19 18:46:39 UTC

to vote

2018-10-19 18:46:49 UTC

Because you didn't put any thought into it

2018-10-19 18:47:13 UTC

i did i didnt want either in office so i put my vote there

2018-10-19 18:47:22 UTC

thats the point

2018-10-19 18:47:36 UTC

If I give you a tractor and you don't know how it works, and you just start doing shit randomly, is that better than sitting still because you didn't know how it works?
That's not what I said, read the example

2018-10-19 18:48:19 UTC

thats a intirely different beast

2018-10-19 18:48:34 UTC

Nah m8, you weren't lazy and made a change

2018-10-19 18:48:41 UTC

It doesn't matter that you rammed the tractor into a tree

2018-10-19 18:48:51 UTC

no i dont know to fix a tractor

2018-10-19 18:49:01 UTC

thats the difference lol

2018-10-19 18:49:12 UTC

i know where i wantchange

2018-10-19 18:49:17 UTC

You also probably don't know all the ins and outs of politics and the economy

2018-10-19 18:49:52 UTC

no but majprtiy of a maerica doesnt we vote for simple thigns we want

2018-10-19 18:50:28 UTC

and if you dont want to vote to get those changes then thats on you

2018-10-19 18:50:30 UTC

And someone who isn't paying attention to the issues and picks a name at random definitely doesn't know

2018-10-19 18:50:43 UTC

But you've defended the virtue of their "effort"

2018-10-19 18:50:48 UTC

example i wanted gay rights so i voted obama both times

2018-10-19 18:51:16 UTC

at least u guys have a right to vote
