But apparently in this case he thinks is the opposite, that the media is trying to downplay the issue

dont build your dreams that depend on other people until you can build other people that you can depend on

the one conservative blog i like to go to for their perspective is not happy with national review

2019-01-24 21:44:19 UTC

Is that the NeverTrumper or was that Weekly Standard

2019-01-24 21:44:29 UTC

the blog?

2019-01-24 21:44:34 UTC

the blog is Ace of Spades

2019-01-24 21:45:11 UTC

I mean National Review

2019-01-24 21:45:33 UTC

I don't know

2019-01-24 21:45:54 UTC

Considering the grudge Ace has with them, they might have been Never Trumpers

2019-01-24 22:40:39 UTC

National Review has a mix at this point. You're probably thinking of Weekly Standard, which was Bill Kristol's magazine and is now dead.

2019-01-24 22:42:42 UTC

Anyways, the article I posted was positing the reason that the Covington story got as far as it did was a lack of ideological balance in the newsrooms.

2019-01-24 22:43:11 UTC

I don't think it's a solution on it's own (since the balance of power tends to not be done too well), but it's an interesting point.

2019-01-24 23:09:30 UTC

@mikeflarkin If the election was today, who would you vote for?

2019-01-24 23:09:37 UTC

or would you still not vote?

2019-01-24 23:09:46 UTC

Trump, in a heartbeat.

2019-01-24 23:09:51 UTC

Cool

2019-01-24 23:10:39 UTC

I voted for Trump because I figured even if he wouldn't or couldn't get it done, at least he was talking about the things we wanted like the wall and ending the shitty trade deals.

Re: Tim's video title question: I don't see any reason why, should a draft exist, anyone of fighting age without a disqualifying physical or mental disability should be excluded. Given that the military has a plethora of positions to fill, not all of them direct combat roles, what's the excuse?

2019-01-25 02:30:26 UTC

The draft should not exist.

2019-01-25 02:31:43 UTC

Being an involuntary memeber of the armed forces should be a disqualifying mental disability.

2019-01-25 02:36:06 UTC

I would agree that a draft should not exist, I'm just asking for consistency

2019-01-25 03:38:02 UTC

Its ok to be an Individual

2019-01-25 03:38:10 UTC

2019-01-25 03:38:15 UTC

Group identity gang

2019-01-25 03:38:33 UTC

Its great being Me

2019-01-25 04:31:41 UTC

It is the right of the state to mobilize the individuals within it for defense and the good of the nation.

2019-01-25 04:35:27 UTC

Truth.

2019-01-25 04:35:37 UTC

And hey, They fucking wanted equality.

2019-01-25 04:35:42 UTC

Give it to em.

2019-01-25 04:36:09 UTC

My great grandfather was a WWII Vet.

2019-01-25 04:36:24 UTC

Farmer turned into draftee.

2019-01-25 05:02:08 UTC

>right of the state

2019-01-25 05:02:18 UTC

I could literally use that for everything else

2019-01-25 05:02:30 UTC

I just realized something. Didn't Obama cause a shutdown to get funding for Obamacare?

2019-01-25 05:10:53 UTC

But yeah, I agree that there should never be a Draft.

2019-01-25 05:27:56 UTC

I would only say a draft would be needed in desperate times.

2019-01-25 05:28:08 UTC

Like, if america would be invaded a call to arms.

2019-01-25 05:28:28 UTC

~~LOCAL58 CONTINGENCY PLAN~~

2019-01-25 07:05:02 UTC

I think the US should not only have the draft but a two year mandatory service as well. It should be noted that the only people who would be fighting overseas have to opt-in and everyone else would stay on US soil. It would solve a lot of societal issues we are currently facing.

2019-01-25 07:08:10 UTC

There was a plan that always shut up feminists: 1 year mandatory service in Non-combat support battalions. 365 days after boot camp to do grunt work. Everyone serves no exceptions. After that, you can go to college, you can get out, or you can re-enlist as a regular. 1 years only serve state side and failure to complete the service means you can not go to college or vote.
