It's that it's such a circular reasoning that depends on all of it's tenets to be true to make any sense.

Like why did they get to that conclusion?

I mean, we get people who become monsters, so identify why they became that way.

In my honest opinion, he flip flops a lot to change and distort things to meet his goal. Whether that was the intention or impression he wanted to give, that's beyond me, but that;s what I got from this whole thing.
