I wouldn't expect any western person to have this mentality until they are provoked, from the experience I have Islamic people live by this and are in a constant state of readiness for this.

I think the entire middle east is a good demonstration of how non bias news is a pipe dream. There has been so much miss information and cover ups for so long that no story can be in context and completely true.
