and less overall?
yes because the employees wont accept the pay cut, they just resign and look elsewhere
so you get mass unemployment
@Green Syndicalism Italian Fascism had a coperative system in power, the economy was run by it's workers, state officials, and employers at a national level.
and a recession
But in an ideal circumstance
italy was really just controlled by big business
where people understood the purpose
More communism= peace and problems solved
wtf
i dont see the point of doing that though
lower prices + lower wages + lower profits doesnt do anything
what I'm thinking is
that would raise the value of labor
it just causes a contraction in the monetary supply
so you get less money, but its worth more
whats the point?

if there's more money in the economy that's also worth more, doesn't that boom the economy?
yes but the reason is because of lags and stuff
Stupid capitalists and their stupid problems. Just convince the government to become communist and your country is good now
π·
prices dont work in perfect harmony
yeah I know
GG @Tiny Diamond, you just advanced to level 3!
well actually i misread that last bit
"more money thats worth more"
thats different from "more money thats worth less" which is what inflation is
"more money thats worth more" requires significant productivity development against foreign nations
and that only happens with a lot of investment into industries, which generally requires more money to be printed
so when you contract the money supply, you get less investment, which reduces your long term productivity, which actually makes your money worth less against foreigners since their productivity hasnt had the same shackles as yours
even though you've reduced the supply it is worth less!
thats the sick bit about IMF policies
they implement policies to "make their currency stronger" but then in the long term it makes it weaker
Shii you the only 1 typing π
+1 for communism and socialism
fuck yes, i just published my book
@Green Syndicalism What book?
