That is the only good solution to creating power
The issue is that's only viable in certain areas
Geothermal is also good when it can be utilized but again that's not everywhere
Yes, that's the other solution.
But that's the only good things we have....
everything else is shit or worse
ya all goign to spend billions shuting coal to go back to nuclear soon
never to realise you are doing the biding for the ones behind coal and nuclear energy
clearing the market for other to come and fill it
@Stefan Payne look up the 'integral fast reactor' and fast breeder reactors in general. solving the waste problem is mostly a political issue, not a science or engineering issue.
tl;dr reactor designs exist that burn the fuel more completely resulting in far less waste by mass, and far, far less dangerous or long lasting waste.
Fast Breeders like the Tschernobyl one?
I think comparing a RBMK to a modern western designed reactor is kind of disingenuous.
It’s Christmas already?
DiFi is Feinstein.
in america can't see reason to avoid nuclear
makes sense to avoid exporting the technology worldwide but so far as fear of meltdowns i think we are passed that
weve had very good examples of what not to do, so being all weary of it is same as superstition to me
as long as its well regulated go for it imo....
payne says they had a teacher get scared of the idea after going to a plant, when i was in middleschool we did a trip to local plant and i trust it more because of that. fine to hate on the idea if it cannot be managed properly but so long as standards are in place its not worth fearing
Uuhhhh
Dudes
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's a case of inbred Syrian conscripts shooting down their own allies.
These morons lob S200s at every blinking light they see and then ululate in joy when something inevitably explodes.
is express trustworthy?
I think it's considered a tabloid.
But the facts of the article seem sound.
so they just forwarded the article from another source?
One caveat being that the detection of French missile launch was reported on by a Russian source and is therefore dubious.

I vomited the last time I ate at that restaurant. I should go there again and eat more (try harder).
Also, underrated retort:

Sorry, I'm turning bitter or something and couldn't resist the chance to snark.
