2018-06-25 04:37:39 UTC

Its only a matter of time before gundams

2018-06-25 04:38:03 UTC

With space coming up we will need them more than ever

2018-06-25 04:41:37 UTC

Besides at this point I think we can trust them more than a lot of other countries that have military. coughGermanycough

2018-06-25 05:08:05 UTC

god reuters is trash

2018-06-25 05:08:19 UTC

that article is a mess

2018-06-25 05:10:39 UTC

Also Abe is a badass

2018-06-25 05:10:59 UTC

he gets portrayed so poorly by the foreign news people would think we hate him probably though

2018-06-25 05:11:59 UTC

Louis Le Vau keeps saying he's a corporatist - but he's not and I have no idea why he thinks that. I've sent some messages but he's never seen them I guess

2018-06-25 05:13:00 UTC

to give you an idea. the US Navy builds on average 3 ships a year with 1 or 2 being decommissioned at the same time.

China is building about 5 new ships a year. Japan.... 7 so far this year alone. They ordered 60 combat ships last year and they're like at 14 already.

2018-06-25 05:13:17 UTC

yup

2018-06-25 05:13:39 UTC

but most are multi purpouse

2018-06-25 05:14:03 UTC

EG aid and research facilities on board

2018-06-25 05:14:34 UTC

one of the ship yards is about 1.5hrs drive fom me

2018-06-25 05:14:42 UTC

cant wait for Evangelions

2018-06-25 05:31:58 UTC

Abe is a good PM domestically, bad in foreign policy. He needs to give up on the Diaoyu Islands

2018-06-25 05:43:57 UTC

Idk it sounded to me like china needs to give up on it

2018-06-25 06:26:52 UTC

It's Chinese territory

2018-06-25 06:27:43 UTC

The media only shows the Japan-PRC friction...but it neglects to mention that they also offend Korea and ROC(Taiwan) on a regular basis

2018-06-25 06:27:59 UTC

Taiwan also claims Diaoyu

2018-06-25 06:44:26 UTC

Taiwan maybe, China no not really

2018-06-25 06:46:01 UTC

@Deleted User bullshit. The Chinese only claimed it after Japan found evidence of oil fields there in the 1970's. There's international records of this including old Chinese maps marking it as part of Japan.

2018-06-25 06:46:05 UTC

Besides by that reasoning we should give California Arizona and Texas back to Mexico

2018-06-25 06:46:35 UTC

Japan signed a treaty ceding all territory conquered

2018-06-25 06:46:47 UTC

By your logic, Japan would still have jurisdiction over Taiwan

2018-06-25 06:47:14 UTC

the fuck are you talking about

2018-06-25 06:47:16 UTC

No

2018-06-25 06:47:22 UTC

that's completely wrong

2018-06-25 06:47:23 UTC

Japan had it before the war

2018-06-25 06:47:33 UTC

Which China is the "real China" is a different issue. But whichever it is, it belongs to China

2018-06-25 06:47:40 UTC

shit Japan had manchuria for a long while

2018-06-25 06:48:00 UTC

china, you mean 支那, literally occupied [by Japan] China?

2018-06-25 06:48:50 UTC

Japan occupied Taiwan at the same time that the islands were ceded. In the same treaty

2018-06-25 06:49:01 UTC

that is absolutely incorrect

2018-06-25 06:49:41 UTC

Japan never ceded Senkaku, I dare you to try and find that record

2018-06-25 06:49:42 UTC

It's absolutely correct. 1895 Treaty of Shimonoseki at the end of the Sino Japanese War

2018-06-25 06:50:48 UTC

Idk

2018-06-25 06:50:49 UTC

find for me where it mentions 尖閣諸島

2018-06-25 06:51:03 UTC

That treaty gave Taiwan and Diaoyu to Japan. All territory except the four main islands and associated minor islands were given back at the 1945 Treaty of SF

2018-06-25 06:51:17 UTC

If it was chinas pretty sure they would have been in control of it and not the US
