actually, looking more up it seems to be very unclear--85% was definitely too high, but it seems like it's been determined to be anywhere from as low as ~48% to as high as like ~77%, but most seem to figure about 70% ± 1-5%

but yes, I'm pretty sure they do celebrate (or "celebrate" at least) it--they might see it as less important than the Julian christmas, idk, but they do at least mostly acknowledge it, same with the Gregorian Easter

@Andrules @Deleted User let's move that convo here. What if the economy can't support every single woman being a stay at home? In my opinion there would be a lot of asshole men and pedos that would take advantage of 16 year old girls. Marry them, and groom them.

The only benefit to this I see is that these younger women would be looking for high status males. That would give all of us time (and young men like me) to get established in this economy.

Rags mentioned one time that, historically, average marriage ages were 17 female and 21 male. So that’d give the men time to get a career going.

Child support is still a thing too, and I don’t think either of us mentioned getting rid of that.

The economy can certainly support stay at home moms. The problem is too many women entered the workforce, which essentially doubled the labor market supply and drove wages down.

To get back to that we need to make some drastic changes to our culture to facilitate going back to that model. One of the things that would greatly help is removing most, if not all, welfare type programs.

And with our new crony system, if Women stopped going to the work force then businesses would shrink or have to cut labor costs.

Which would drive wages down again.

If 20-30% of the women working suddenly quit tomorrow. Businesses would have to pay to encourage people to go back to the jobs those women had been working.

They would shrink, initially. They’d bounce back though, or collapse under the weight of their bad business decisions.

Your issue with grooming 16 year olds... that’s basically always happened. Still wrong, but it isn’t a new problem. Just have to deal with it as the issues arise.

As far as labor cost... Labor accounts for like 5-10% of product cost in the places I’ve worked.

Your biggest product “cost” is overhead from overpriced executives, and bad sourcing for materials.

Women are also prime drivers of society. When feminism told women that being equal with men meant loads of meaningless sex, men took advantage of the new harem they were presented with.

So women have continually waited longer and longer to “settle down” and start a family. This is counter to their biology and just makes them miserable.
