Well, there's also the fact that the US can most definitely be spending it's tax dollars better, no argument here.
We have over 800 military bases around the world, for example.
We don't need that many.
And well, that there are alot of inefficiencies in the system
how many times does your money get taxed?
The wall is one such solution
Several.
I am pro-wall
Taxes are taken out on income, and every time you buy/sell an item.
Well, being here makes you altright lol
why tax a dollar several times? instead charge it once and be done
here, we pay 13 cents on every dollar spent, and we have income tax taken off that we get back later
I heard that you pay an amount and they decide to tell you later whether or not you paid enough
in the Us
but we have taxes on everything except for fresh food items
is it that bad?
yes @GingaBomber
you don't get charged taxes for fresh fruits, veggies, meats, and other basics
I'm really not too familiar with our tax system, myself. Sometimes you overpay and get more money back, sometimes you get a phone call from the IRS telling you that you owe them 5000 dollars.
in the US it depends on the state
So different tax brackets per state?
I assumed the US had the same in every state?
abd if you don't pay enough they send you to jail till you pay it off
Like with that new tax plan.
Like, food items altogether are not taxed in California, whereas in Georgia only *fresh* food items are not taxes, if I remember correctly. Even if I am not, it's along those lines.
I assumed it will be implemented in every state
there is a federal tax nation wide then there is a state level then a city level
Ah I see
I'm not too familiar with th enew tax plan, either. lol
How the fuck man. So the average man for example. Of the money he recieves, how much of it goes to the govt?
so why tax our money so much?
Dunno really, I only heard good things of the new plan
about 30-40% by the end of the year
But then I already said I listen to more conservative sources
Well, it doesn't seem like a lot at face value, but if you actually add it all up some people can get taxed as high as about... I think 45%?
Thats almost european level of taxes.
With none of the benefits. lol
if you own property it is worse than renting
I mean, they should probably treat the govt like a buisness, if you want people to willingly give you money, provide a better service.
and a 20t debt
