Which is why so many people dislike what they call "capitalism"
Without understanding what it actually means
Yes, it is a very flawed system, I do agree
Government should not be intermingling with corporations
It is very corrupt
The Government, in my own opinion, should put in place very necessary regualtions, and leave the rest of the market alone
That's not real capitalism!!!!!111111
and there should be laws against lobbying, business subsidization, and other things
Tbh, the purest form of Capitalism you can see it from the age of Classical Era and Medieval era
You just don't understand what communism means, Amadeus.
Are you being sarcastic
The purest form of communism is the tribal age when everyone was exactly equal.
yes.
okay, just making sure
because i've heard that a lot of times, and it's hard to tell
Corporatism is capitalism, and it's the wrong kind.
There are good aspects to communism, and it is the best form of government in small, tribal communities. It's what we grew out of. Men hunted, women picked berries and got pregnant. Everyone ate.
i'm not arguing it isn't a form of capitalism, I am just saying it is not capitalism in terms of what capitalism represents
Small, tribal, and homogenous communities*
And yeah, it is. It's capitalism on the terms of which you write capitalism to be.
No, it isn't
Capitalism is simply a form of economics where there is a private industry, you have the freedom of choice for jobs (as long as they hire you) and how you spend your money, and that you have private property
Anything else is an addition to the concept
A form or mutation
And I disagree, there is nothing good about communism, it is a flawed philosophy and ideology, because it does wants a global utopia, it does not actually focus on the microscale of small communities and tribes
Corporation Capitalism is the end-game of the elites. Massive corporations to control certain parts of the populous while no governments anymore remain and the Earth is split up on corporations. @Amadeus Also no Corporation Capitalism is Capitalism. Capitalism have a lot of branches that you can go on, it's not a mutation.
I'm talking pre-Marx
I am not
@Iakovos Communism wasn't even on tribal level. Even then you had Leaders/higher rank people/shamans etc that they had different power
It's a mutation in terms of how ideologies grow overtime and branch off
That's what some of the elites want, anyway lol
Humanity is corrupt and it needs to be nuked.
The closest thing to a functioning communism is the small population of priests that live by themselves like in Monasteries
There have been small instances of communist-like functions working to varying degrees of success here and there throughout history
I forget their name, but a sect of protestant Christianity that lived in like the Great Plains region was very communal
I am not sure how long they lasted, but I do know the name is associated with fridge brands and stuff, so I assume it stopped at some point
I don't think communism implies lack of hierarchy, there is still order and structure, except that wealth and goods are distributed by overseers. However, that is dependent on those overseers, or people running the logistics of the communist empire are not morally reprehensible and stealing from the nation's wealth.
There is a difference between anarcho-communism, which is lack of society and literally a pipe dream, and Stalinism/Maoism.
Communism in its purest theory as proposed by Marx is a society without hierarchy
It is total equality of everyone
But can't you revise that, Amadeus, just like you can revise Capitalism?
Add to, subtract?
