I don't get how they can give this information with a straight face.
the 'Gun Death Rate' that they're using includes suicide.

I mean, the Second Amendment protected cannons. Anything that packs less punch than a canon should have precedent protection under the Second amendment. (Corrected for spelling and correct amendment, although technically correct, the First Amendment DOES protect Canons.)

when you imagine a society where your worst enemy might get any weapon known to man not witholding nuclear weapons you often imagine that you too will have those and thus be able to defend yourself with mutually assured distruction, however realisticly within a capitalistic system people have millions of different rates of wealth accumulation and as such someone you dont like is always likely to be more well armed and able to threaten you more than you are. and then theres crazy people
