and if applied in real life with out proper explanation will lead to unethical behaivour

2018-08-18 09:03:55 UTC

for example senators and such

2018-08-18 09:04:03 UTC

on laws, theyh ave an abstain vote

2018-08-18 09:04:16 UTC

but by abstaining they are pandering to the mayority

2018-08-18 09:04:27 UTC

thers a whole dilema there

2018-08-18 09:04:44 UTC

Wouldnt the whole choice thing bypass that?

2018-08-18 09:04:50 UTC

no

2018-08-18 09:05:54 UTC

So lets get this straight

2018-08-18 09:06:04 UTC

they abstain knowingly

2018-08-18 09:06:29 UTC

this si an example of people chosing to be neutral

2018-08-18 09:06:30 UTC

You dont think not making a choice does not count as making a choice

2018-08-18 09:07:02 UTC

hyh?

2018-08-18 09:07:06 UTC

huh?

2018-08-18 09:07:07 UTC

lol

2018-08-18 09:07:23 UTC

that sentence needs more negations

2018-08-18 09:07:28 UTC

that wasnt my point

2018-08-18 09:07:53 UTC

We lost the point 50 messages ago

2018-08-18 09:07:54 UTC

my point was, that a person taht is ignorant of the making of any choice and by that they are neutral of it they are not making any choice so they are not responsable

2018-08-18 09:08:17 UTC

Where did responsibility come into this?

2018-08-18 09:08:25 UTC

if a person knows the subject at hand, and decides to not to decide then thats a choice

2018-08-18 09:08:29 UTC

that carries repercusion

2018-08-18 09:08:42 UTC

Thats assuming the individual also knows the repercussions of his choice

2018-08-18 09:08:55 UTC

yes

2018-08-18 09:09:01 UTC

Hey what in the sam hill is goin on here?!

2018-08-18 09:09:12 UTC

Buut that is not always true

2018-08-18 09:09:12 UTC

we going dip babe

2018-08-18 09:09:17 UTC

deep

2018-08-18 09:09:27 UTC

I prefer dip

2018-08-18 09:09:35 UTC

so you actually don't think not making a choice does not count as not avoiding making a non choice

2018-08-18 09:09:42 UTC

huh

2018-08-18 09:09:55 UTC

I think thats a joke

2018-08-18 09:09:59 UTC

About negations

2018-08-18 09:10:09 UTC

ya ppl were saying that not being part of the making of a choice was like being neutral

2018-08-18 09:10:26 UTC

so by that the person made the choice of being neutral

2018-08-18 09:10:36 UTC

Well my point was critisizing people who think being neutral makes them immune to criticism

2018-08-18 09:10:58 UTC

lol

2018-08-18 09:11:02 UTC

Because by being neutral on a subject, they hold no views and therefore cant be critisized

2018-08-18 09:11:26 UTC

well depends

2018-08-18 09:11:28 UTC

Because holding no opinions is an opinion on its own

2018-08-18 09:11:29 UTC

is all about ethics

2018-08-18 09:11:45 UTC

Being neutral is being completely immune to 'gotchas'
