yep. It's been a fairly good night for republicans. The specifics were sometimes exciting, but what mostly happened was what people thought was going to happen.
Unfortunately, Illinois Republicans get to share in none of this. State Democratic Legislative Supermajority as well as a strong, new democratic Governorship?
Good chance Illinois never turns red again with what will probably devastate Southern and Central IL.
