the least awful solution would be to declare votes from the counties that have violated state election law as invalid, and arrest their election officials.

2018-11-10 02:31:16 UTC

I had similar thoughts, though less vitriolic.

2018-11-10 02:31:42 UTC

It's a little frustrating, but I'm not going to begrudge the Libertarians for voting for the candidate they actually want instead of voting for a compromise candidate.

2018-11-10 02:45:59 UTC

No hes literally saying the same thing

2018-11-10 02:46:40 UTC

"Why are you voting for a third party? We cant afford to fail so vote for my party, its the less evil/better choice

2018-11-10 02:47:09 UTC

"Just be a party member until you have majority control and then im sure theyll work with you"

2018-11-10 02:48:33 UTC

And I get the pragmatism of that approach.

2018-11-10 02:48:51 UTC

A third party will never be established if its members refuse to vote for their guy during the election

2018-11-10 02:49:21 UTC

But a third party is never going to get off the ground until they can mobilize enough support, and the best way of doing that is, well, supporting their candidates and getting the awareness out.

Yeah.

2018-11-10 02:54:18 UTC

Their party will never happen if they align themselves wholeheartedly with an already existing political party no matter how much influence they get. Whatever support and influence they are able to wield will not be as an influence group within a party rather than as a distinct political party.

2018-11-10 02:57:45 UTC

Saying that once the third party has majority control the main group will work with you is worthless because at that point the influence of the other parties means nothing.

2018-11-10 03:00:04 UTC

It's less a matter of pragmatically getting some concessions and more a matter of political sovereignty.

2018-11-10 03:00:19 UTC

If any political group is going to stand on principle, it's the libertarians.

2018-11-10 04:22:02 UTC

```North of germany, south of norway :wink:```
So you#re one of those people coming over to Germany go buy booze @4AM_critter 🐉 ? 😉
2018-11-10 05:15:31 UTC
Objectivism yay or nay?
2018-11-10 05:54:44 UTC
no
2018-11-10 05:54:52 UTC
because you must not objectify Womxn
2018-11-10 07:14:39 UTC
shut up faggot
2018-11-10 07:21:22 UTC
2018-11-10 07:49:10 UTC
what a nice entry into a Discord Server...
2018-11-10 08:02:49 UTC
lol
2018-11-10 08:03:09 UTC
I am not sure if you are being sarcastic or not
2018-11-10 08:03:18 UTC
😐
2018-11-10 08:04:10 UTC
Nuances in your voice are not really transmitted well in written form. Tone is difficult to read.
2018-11-10 13:34:26 UTC
But can you objectify men? <:PepoThink:477498566495961099>
2018-11-10 14:01:21 UTC
Men have rights in this forsaken world`??
2018-11-10 14:05:06 UTC
no
2018-11-10 14:05:13 UTC
They have the right to "man up"
2018-11-10 14:05:31 UTC
As the president of NOW said in the Red Pill Movie.
2018-11-10 14:29:29 UTC
So, boobs or ass? I'm a boob girl myself.
2018-11-10 14:31:08 UTC
Funny thing about being a girl married to a girl. I objectify women all the time. My wife has a lovely rack. Quite comfy to snuggle into at night. :-)
2018-11-10 14:32:42 UTC
Being bi I objectify men too. Strong arms to lose myself in make me melt. A man with an accent and strong arms will leave me a puddle on the floor...assuming he treats me right of course.
2018-11-10 14:33:58 UTC
My point is that anyone with a libido or memories of one will objectify. It's in our genes. We should revel in it. It makes us human.
2018-11-10 14:35:54 UTC
That said, we have higher brains for a reason and our "come hither" physical and behavioral traits are just one part of us. If someone defined us by those traits that can be objectified, that's sad. Because we all are so much more than our ass, abs, boobs, hair, etc.
2018-11-10 14:38:23 UTC
This is likely the libertarian in me. You don't hear about left-leaning libertarians like you do right-leaning, but we exist.
2018-11-10 14:39:46 UTC
And I agree, libertarians are perhaps the most principled.
2018-11-10 14:41:02 UTC
Speaking of the elections, in many ways it demonstrates the potential glory of the 10th Amendment that will become more evident if the more conservative courts go the direction we're being sold.
2018-11-10 14:41:40 UTC
Just look at all the propositions and referendums this time around.
2018-11-10 14:43:49 UTC
WV prepared for much more latitude to control abortion by ensuring it will be as restricted as they are permitted to make it. On the other coast, OR votes in a supermajority to continue using public money for abortions.
2018-11-10 14:45:14 UTC
Three states vote to permit Medicaid expansion and a fourth elects a governor who will implement a vote from last year. But MT votes down a cigarette tax that leaves that state potentially withdrawing from expansion.
2018-11-10 14:46:20 UTC
Oregon votes to permit sugary drinks to be taxed but next door Washington votes to stop such taxes.
