The problem I have isn't that he called her out on what appeared to be hyperbole
It's a combination of things. One, that he had to tie the whole thing in with an epithet of 'Worst Reporter' (There are FAR far far far far black hole in the middle of the pacific worse reporters)
As well as the fact that he went and edited two videos on the subject, but told Lauren Southern that it wasn't 'worth his time' to discuss.

Atheism isn't just a lack of a belief in god, it means something more.

Atheists is "I don't believe there is a God", agnostic is "I do not believe you can even know if there is a God or not"
Basically, My general belief is "I don't know if there is a god, but it's not that god over there, that's for damn sure."
They answer two different questions
Atheism means you reject it,
If you don't know cuz you don't believe, you're agnostic
Atheism is actively saying "theres no proof, so i dont think there is one"
No.
One is if they exist, the other is if that can be known for sure
its just "I dont have proof" ... and stops there
and that you thus don't believe there is one
If you have no proof but still believe there is one, you're just an average theist
You can simply not believe in any god, and be an atheist.
