I've only seen the movies and played Shadows of the Empire, and KOTOR
It was the book that gave some insightinto the thought process of a stormtrooper
Rebellion it was called. Damn good book
You had 5 stormies from 5 different backgrounds.
They all became deserters.
Which was kinda forced to come with I think.

Like how a stormtrooper, a sharpshooter, pilot, scout
Thats what happend to the 5
They basically got captured by thrawn and put in charge of one of his regiments
He's an amazing villain, man
I mean he had great ideals
And was smart enough
Only non human in a high ranking position
Managing to get that far in a highly xenophobic society speaks much about his capabilities
I liked the stories about the individuals in the war
I like him more than Darth Vader
Not the ones commanding them
He doesn't just kill people for dissenting
So stuff like wraith squadron, which was about the rebels
He's just ruthlessly efficient
To be honest, the only thing going for vader was his skill and mysteriousness
Imposing, extremely powerful
Nothing compared to a very successful man rivalling the emperor without the force.
Darth Vader doesn't kill people for desenting either
He kills people for being arrogant 😉
He randomly killed 5 people
No investigation
they had it coming!
I wouldnt call that a skilled commander
What I liked about vader was how ruthless he was
Sure he killed them withhout investigation
But everyone else is scared into submission
Vader was Space Stalin
