I mean it says alot that a system getting so big that you need a progressively larger iron fist to keep under controll
well, it should just be the real cycle of power
like humans have irl
I wouldnt say what we got would translate well by scale
Like feudalism worked during a time when messages took days to send
Hewwo
You have republics, that slowly start slowing down, and stagnate
As their beaurocracy cloggs up the system
Then you get a big leader that destroys all these barriers, and people start anew,
The trio is here
What are you gays talking about
Star Wars
My dissapointment in SW
Well
I was dissapointed too after watching Solo
I didn't watch solo
You know my favourite arc in the SW universe?
The Hand of Judgement
I've only seen the movies and played Shadows of the Empire, and KOTOR
It was the book that gave some insightinto the thought process of a stormtrooper
Rebellion it was called. Damn good book
You had 5 stormies from 5 different backgrounds.
Which was kinda forced to come with I think.
I'm reading Thrawn right now
It's really good
Like how a stormtrooper, a sharpshooter, pilot, scout
Thats what happend to the 5
They basically got captured by thrawn and put in charge of one of his regiments
He's an amazing villain, man
I mean he had great ideals
And was smart enough
Only non human in a high ranking position
Managing to get that far in a highly xenophobic society speaks much about his capabilities
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Hand_of_Judgment Yeah about these guys
I liked the stories about the individuals in the war
I like him more than Darth Vader
Not the ones commanding them
He doesn't just kill people for dissenting
So stuff like wraith squadron, which was about the rebels
He's just ruthlessly efficient
To be honest, the only thing going for vader was his skill and mysteriousness
