give it time, i'm sure the african american studies departments will soon offer a minor in chicago studies, or harlem studies, or new orleans studies, and can't forget Hawtlanta studies!
well putting it in foreign language would imply that the blacks of america are inherently foreign to the country and thus not a part of the vibrancy that makes up our multicultural melting pot
