Theres just too many rallies and it aint cheap going to one
yeah I guess travel cost is usually not worth for one day event
If Tim is saying that there's basically going to be a battle, it's probably going to be newsworthy and there's going to be good footage.
He can see things first hand instead of having to read articles written by others and trying to parse out what happened second hand.
So when is Tim doing a collab with Robscallion
i might go to portland but im not sure
antifa would target me
get a helmet with a gopro on it
anyway man, you can't let these dickheads have veto power over what you cover and what you don't. if you think it's newsworthy go, if you don't think it's newsworthy then don't.
just don't let some dipshit trashcan assaulting soyboy choose what you can and can't cover
How much of a factor is antifa presence or awareness is when it comes to choosing what to cover @Timcast ? Cause I was sure alot of them dont even know who you are.
Cause I dont know how dangerous the us ones really are amd the radio silence on the issue does not help either.
Just take the beanie off, they will never know it's you
We now do though
Fuck antifa, I have had run in's myself and the sterotype lives up.
Lol maybe ill let the patrons say. They are the ones paying for it.
What do you think this is? Capitalism?
Yes, the greatest system we have!!
heya
high risk high reward
Lol. Let the patrons decide. Personally not a fan of asking another to make the sacrifice.
@Timcast if you go, just stay safe.
Tim, if you go...
Buy some paperclips and attatch your beanie like a fucking helmet lmao
you know some dickweed with a face-bandana is gonna try and take it
Tim without his beanie would be like Samson having his hair cut off. He'd lose all his power.
@Timcast yeah, opinions sell better and are just easier. It's why Townhall and IJR aren't very good. They started as serious attempts to build an accurate alternative news infrastructure away from the mainstream news outlets after Rathergate.
But then the bills came due and they shifted to being more overt opinions.
I've always found it deeply disappointing. I've felt that if there was institutional support there is a market for something like Fox (ideally more centered) online. But so far the industry is so over-saturated everyone's now just eating each other in opinion pieces (including, increasingly, the mainstream outlets).
With respect to Portland, what if you just flew a bunch of drones for most of the event remotely? Stay out of the immediate fray and maybe find some people who look OK to interview afterwards. Personally, I wouldn't go near that fight with a 10 foot pole, but I'm admittedly a bit of a coward.
Regardless of what you decide, stay safe. I think we can all respect your decision whatever it may be.
What are the regulations on flying a drone in the city?
Seems pretty lax: https://romanolawpc.com/oregon-drone-laws/
Another option would be to try and plant cameras in hidden locations ahead of time. Though that might be very dangerous in it's own right.
Bad idea, people will HWNDU it
Only if they know it's happening.
It's still dangerous. It means Tim would be walking around doing suspicious things in suspicious places. He could look like he's planting explosives or something for example. Or we could get another round of "get the neo-nazi" where the "neo-nazi" isn't a neo-nazi.

Yeah, the hidden camera idea is not so recommended. Drone could work though. Or Tim and some friends could play hot potato with the one camera. Monkey in the middle, with some antifa shitstains as the monkey.
Wear a body cam, tape all you can.
If you get hurt you get to be victim of the week, get a bunch of coverage and get new followers
Get one of those google maps 360 cameras and wear it as a helmet
Dude, theres dozens of people who get hurt in these rallies, and little to no converage on them.
