facebook's definition of hate speech
is white men still a protected class?
Kinda annoying, I reported a group made to hate on white people. It was a group of students in auckland uni.
Same group managed to get a club removed.
Is Sarah Jeong on Facebook?
"Didnt meet the definitions of hate speech"
Club was for europeans to hang out really.
"Many different groups which have historically faced discrimination in society, including representatives from the Jewish" You think they will ban anti-semetic leftists?
NZ has some foreign students.
They have no issue with maori's or aisans having their own groups, but europeans are a big no no
i think there should be a conspiracy theory channel for you guys lol... name it Tinfoil Hats
Lmao
that shirt lmfao
Dude you knew what you were getting into when you joined this channel
"We define harmful content as anything organizing real world violence, theft, or property destruction, or that directly inflicts emotional distress on a specific private individual (e.g. bullying). " where them antifa pages at
Maybe no one reports them because the people who would stopped using Facebook
I'm sure Facebook would have bots that scan key terms
this is Facebook afterall
That does nothing really
where is the conspiracy theory?
@d3adlyz3bra welcome to timfo wars
Trust me, I was on a site (and a group with a bot) that did just that once, didn't stop the shitposters. They just change up spelling a bit and off they go
```No point complaining if they enforced their TOS. Its their right afterall.``` They have to enforce their TOS equally though.
That's the issue. Making a rule that anyone can break all the time, and only enforcing it on the ones they don't like.
I was sarcastic then.
And i pointed it out, my beefi s not them enforcing their TOS
🤷
my beef is how selective it is
Ive reported groups on FB that fit the description.
Makes sense to me that the bigger channels would be banned first tho. more people seeing them and the smaller channels would have less reports
Which means the system isnt automated, someone is looking at the reports.
Or an automated system only kicks off after too many reports
im sure once an account reaches so many reports it is suspended until someone looks at it
And sends those to the top of the stack
And if that is the case, then there is a chance no one even got to see your report
That sounds a little brutish.
I think automated systems will generally at most hide a comment until it gets looked at
Preemptive punishment sounds rather harsh
To you, not to a company
