I used to think games were art

Some are imo

but the art-snob people made me step away from that notion

My stance on it, Games can be art, just like any art form

Not every painting is a work of art

fuck it, theres a market for all of it

Art is made by the quality and feeling you get from the object in question

You can empty your trash-can on a canvas, give it some pretentious name and call art

a game requires a bit of effort though, it needs to compile at least
