who grants this authority?

2018-08-22 15:56:30 UTC

big difference between state and family

Is that you can't just leave and its not your family anymore

But if you leave a state, you're gone

2018-08-22 15:56:43 UTC

Via the use of force. Your dad only has authority because he can kick you out of his house, usually using the state if you refuse

2018-08-22 15:57:04 UTC

okay, so he is the state?

2018-08-22 15:57:26 UTC

No, and if you has read what I said that distinction would be clear

2018-08-22 15:57:26 UTC

who says its his house?

2018-08-22 15:57:33 UTC

Your father is not an organization

2018-08-22 15:57:44 UTC

my family is

2018-08-22 15:57:48 UTC

he just leads it

2018-08-22 15:58:07 UTC

he is the president, or maybe my mom is the president. the other parent, vp.

2018-08-22 15:58:23 UTC

who said this was their house? why can't it be my house?

2018-08-22 15:58:31 UTC

Your family does not have a military or bureaucracy, and I can leave a family without vying for citizenship with another family

2018-08-22 15:59:02 UTC

If it's your house your parents only have whatever authority you feasibly give them

2018-08-22 15:59:21 UTC

And/or whatever sociopathic levels of force they're willing to leverage against their own offspring

2018-08-22 15:59:39 UTC

Again, this is "any sharing is communism" tier

2018-08-22 15:59:53 UTC

military is just a form of force, like family has physical strength / a gun

2018-08-22 16:00:16 UTC

who says you can?

2018-08-22 16:00:16 UTC

Not to mention the fact that a lot of commies advocate communal childrearing anyway

2018-08-22 16:00:24 UTC

doesn't that depend on where you are born

2018-08-22 16:00:30 UTC

what if there is no unclaimed land left

2018-08-22 16:00:43 UTC

then you need to be either taken into another family, or treated as a refugee.

2018-08-22 16:01:01 UTC

the other day on r/anarchism they were complaining about being banned from r/communism

2018-08-22 16:01:06 UTC

talking about how the left is ban happy

2018-08-22 16:01:12 UTC

the irony was lost on them unfortauntely

2018-08-22 16:01:17 UTC

😛

2018-08-22 16:01:26 UTC

cooled off a bit have you Tim?

2018-08-22 16:02:56 UTC

"In my experience, both r/communism and r/socialism are not very friendly places. Try the 101 versions of each."

like r/anarchism

2018-08-22 16:03:11 UTC

they are so close to realizing they are not actually all that good as people

2018-08-22 16:04:25 UTC

do I have any interest in the college posting? didn't get a response and there's some really spicy stuff around here

2018-08-22 16:04:50 UTC

they're close, the only thing to break it is people telling them that, so they kick them, so no one can tell the truth, and they can live in their lie

2018-08-22 16:05:08 UTC

Cringe stuff? we have several people here that bring cringe constantly

2018-08-22 16:05:23 UTC

from my college specifically

2018-08-22 16:05:25 UTC

stuff I see

2018-08-22 16:05:41 UTC

go ahead i guess? just don't cause trouble 😛

2018-08-22 16:05:59 UTC

there will be trouble if the mob finds out I'm making fun of them

2018-08-22 16:06:41 UTC

yeah i meant like, keep it classy and know theres a shitposting channel here 😛

2018-08-22 16:06:42 UTC

anyway, let's get this started

2018-08-22 16:06:46 UTC

There is no unclaimed land already and people still leave their families lol

2018-08-22 16:07:17 UTC

no unclaimed land and people still leave their states, lol.

2018-08-22 16:08:37 UTC

tell me, at what point does any given social hierarchy, family, town, community, what have you, transform from being like your typical family unit, to being the state. There are plenty of families that, once large enough, become like mini-states. I think most people agree a family unit is not equal to the state. But i want to know why. It is very important if you want to remove the state.
