i think you could have made it into a movie by just filming the parts, using the interviewer as a narrator, then just end with that last scene in the north with him interviewing the people hunting zombies in the spring thaw.

the 'entertainment' business is incredibly bad at adaptations

Sin City, Scott Pilgrim.. and tbh LotR were pretty great adaptations but outside of those there isn't much

the first 3 eps of American Gods was perfect actually then it went wayyyyyy off track and became hot garbage

could have made a sequel then to where it covers the person who made the zombie survival guide as he is writing it.

but no, had to make a generic action flick where you need to inject yourself with a lethal virus to save yourself from a lethal virus

they sure did fuck up Preacher too

that said, there was some good scenes in WWZ. but they were too quick.

I'd love for them to do Fables but I'm pretty sure they'd fuck that up too

half these adaptations never even get a chance because the casting is all wrong

eh, didn't mind TWD either. But i've never been the biggest fans of comics. The stories themselves i usually like... mostly. the longer they go on the more bs they become until the basically reboot with some comic trope.

well 'the stories themselves' is *exactly* why you should read the comics, lol

that was what TWD is all about

it doesn't have to be frame by frame or beat by beat but at least get the casting/characters and feel/mood right ffs
