the theory is that charities will come in and collect them. So we are told. But there are only so many tents you need and once you've collected a field of these things you aren't going to want to do it again. They just are picking them up anymore.,

I know this is a bit late, But on the IN-N-OUTS boycott, they probably donate to the democrats too, it is fairly standard practice for companies to donate both parties to get on their good side, though it may not always be the case.
