Thanks, Rye. Completely missed it the first time around.
This is so far my favorite take on the "High Guardian Spice" trailer situation.
You know crunchyroll could've fund another season of Big O instead of makeong HGS and it wouldve been much more well received and profitable
Kinda OT but on point of animation itself Art Prodigy friend gave me a earful once that was interesting.
He said western animators, graphic designers and similar get under-represented statistically in the workforce because most of them are subject to bad education in comparison to most other continents where they don't try so hard to teach abstract art, put emphasis on importance of stupid paint smeers etc, picasso etc. Everywhere else they just stick to classical training of technique, which apparently we suck at teaching in art schools even though its the most important thing you could actually learn at a art school.
I will have to say that some of the wacky abstract art stuff can be fun with coming up with entertaining entertaining ideas for artworks, but the technical component, which has been significantly lowered in the threshold last 200 years, is still something that you need to have.
i could of said 'modern art"
his point wasn't that it has no merit, more that the only reason picasso or say van gogh etc created good stuff that became legendary as it was is because they had the fundimentals down, then expressed themselves as uniquely. (western) Art schools typically focusing on abstract/modern qualities too much instead of fundimentals leading to much poorer technical skills (putting the chicken before the egg) which results in poor outlook on the job market for alot of them....

@DOGASS was it just me or did the Halliday guy from 'ready player one' not seem completely fucking based off him (in the movie)... maybe it wasn't intentional but idea of director casting a character to reflect somebody like Terry Davis made me feel kinda gooey and warm
Didn't watch RP1 movie
