Boomers didn't have the internet to distract them, they got bored during the day so became productive 😉

2018-09-06 09:44:50 UTC

millenials just post facebook quotes, and meme

2018-09-06 09:44:51 UTC

wol is right

2018-09-06 09:45:00 UTC

buy american economy will get better

2018-09-06 09:45:41 UTC

Japan has a lot of issues, but i will tell a quick story about Automotive business and Japans ability to make money vs America (circa 1990s): My father was once in a board meeting about profits over the Ford Escort (ZX-2 iirc), Ford was losing something like 500 a car on it, meanwhile the Mazda it was based directly off of was making 1200 dollars a car, my father commented 'we have a 40% share in mazda, if i wanted to support ford shouldn't i buy the mazda, thats 300ish dollars (40%x1200) + not losing the 500, basically making us 800+ dollars :DDDD'

2018-09-06 09:46:11 UTC

But people just want buy cheaper stuff made in non- American countries

2018-09-06 09:47:05 UTC

then dont whine about shti getting more expensive due to inflation

2018-09-06 09:48:02 UTC

Nidhogg is right <:TimThink:482277772497125378> saving money on outsourced labor, increases cost

2018-09-06 09:48:18 UTC

you are saving money

2018-09-06 09:48:26 UTC

and also sending money away from the us

2018-09-06 09:48:26 UTC

Why are we pretending social media is the only thing that's happened.

2018-09-06 09:48:31 UTC

devaluating the us dollar

2018-09-06 09:49:11 UTC

its weird... americans want higher minimum wage, but also want open borders to let in low skilled workers,
and then complain about getting fired cuz some immigrant wants to do their job for less 😂 👌

2018-09-06 09:49:27 UTC

thats extreme version of 'liberalism'

2018-09-06 09:49:38 UTC

Its the rich children that want open borders due to closer racism and guilt

2018-09-06 09:49:43 UTC

its the poor who complain

2018-09-06 09:49:46 UTC

huh

2018-09-06 09:50:07 UTC

rich people dont live near poor people to care

2018-09-06 09:50:15 UTC

they dont know migrants

2018-09-06 09:50:19 UTC

exactly

2018-09-06 09:50:30 UTC

tey wont care even if they live near poor people
im not rich, and i dont care about poor people, and i live around them

2018-09-06 09:50:35 UTC

well they know migrants by those they choose to hire in the agricultural workforce

2018-09-06 09:50:36 UTC

so they think they're helping poor migrant people, because clearly life isn't bad in the (local) country

2018-09-06 09:50:38 UTC

You do have to remember that many people not consider big economic factors like how buying non-American stuff is bad for the dollar, they just want to buy stuff.

2018-09-06 09:50:46 UTC

not as individuals, but otherwise

2018-09-06 09:51:22 UTC

thats because most people dont understand economics, if they did you wouldn't have socialist promoters

2018-09-06 09:51:23 UTC

trump is doing what ever he can to balance the deficit to stop the inflation

2018-09-06 09:51:51 UTC

yeah, most people dont know about that. i wonder why that is exactly

2018-09-06 09:52:02 UTC

lack of interest / self study

2018-09-06 09:52:14 UTC

No borders would be devastatingly problematic

2018-09-06 09:52:28 UTC

having half of all the us dollars spreaded in foreign banks as credit for developing nations can do so much with the budget deficit

2018-09-06 09:52:38 UTC

i dunno, it should be in the education system right?
like... economy 101

2018-09-06 09:52:55 UTC

Critical Thinking too, like

2018-09-06 09:52:56 UTC

not just developing Nations, America is paying for Europes military (tahnks btw 😉 as a European)

2018-09-06 09:52:56 UTC

i think it should at least

2018-09-06 09:53:06 UTC

A class on analysis of sources and how to properly have discourse

2018-09-06 09:53:14 UTC

As in avoiding logical fallacies and the like

2018-09-06 09:53:21 UTC

I had economics in school, the most complicated concept they taught me was "Break even point"

2018-09-06 09:53:23 UTC

theres a reason why the us has half its budget on defense

2018-09-06 09:53:30 UTC

to secure the assets in those countries

2018-09-06 09:54:00 UTC

the mayor factor that started wars in the last 300 years was loans from one countries to others
