@Deleted User Zeteticism?
I love it
I prefer the Zetetic method

My mom is an "anti-vax mom"
So I didn't get vaccines for a long time
@Salade Nah, I managed to stay healthy and hardly get sick in my later years. Possibly because the people around me were vaccinated, and also me staying home a lot after college completion keeps me isolated from public sicknesses. But many of the vaccinated students still got sick, like flu. Some other vaccines like whooping cough worked really well and you would have very slight chance of contracting it but you still could spread it to other people.
Flu vaccines weren't that great, you only got them because the school required it. Unless you got a signed exemption
@Salade They have many benefits, maybe negatives that can be fixed.
I am not against them, so pro I guess.
Some are less effective than others
If I do get vaccinated again, I'd do Tetanus shot maybe, I haven't got it for decades.
The thing with vaccines is that they get tested directly and crossed review. So I don't have as much of a problem with mainstream medical science, it relies more on the zetetic method.
Not used in any vaccines?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Thimerosal is still used in some vaccines.
Much of the increase in autism is from change in diagnostic criteria. There is no objective test that reveals autism, it is diagnosed from analyzing behavior under a particular criteria by experts.
And when you change criteria to be less restrictive, you can get more people with autism that otherwise wouldn't pass for it before.

@Cerberus | Kinda. There is like tons of conspiracy theories on the list in this server. You probably accept at least one.

What is the description for fake news? It probably refers to a conspiracy of faking news

The Skynet one is lit. Someday, robots take over the world and it is in the making.
It is whatever you wanna believe basically

I'm thinking both 666 and 616 could be right from gematria of Latin vs hebrew
However, there is a catch

What does that mean?
Latin drops the second ื . I'm thinking they both can spell out the Same term in their respective languages

@Human Sheeple Were you the one that did the modeling to show that a selenelion is possible on a globe?
How did you make the selenelion work, I'm wondering.
Cutting corners?
So it was able to work within a particular area and that allowed a few degrees off to still work the lunar eclipse?
Well, the primary issue was with the 2d plane for the lunar eclipse, sun being not directly aligned with the earth and moon.
I'm not familiar with modeling so I'm not quite sure what you mean, but what exactly does it take to make the selenelion work on the globe regarding its position. Do you have to change the sun's apparent position?
I'm aware, I was just interested that in your modeling showing selenelion working on a globe perfectly, exactly how has it been determined?
Could work on a ball earth in theory, but the issue primarily was they have to alter the position of the apparent sun to get it to work, that being variable by atmospheric conditions.
So then why do they claim all these phenomena work like over the horizon sightings, selenelion, and knowing the position of the sun?
If they lack the working refraction model?
So if you model a superior mirage on a globe, what kind of light bending does it take to reach over the horizon? Wouldn't it have to go over the line of sight first then bend down over the curvature?
But the question is, are you a flat Marser?
@ะฆะฐัั Earth ain't a planet as flat earthers describe it.
You see, there is a special way of looking at it all
UFOs mean "Unidentified", so how do we know what those sightings were?
Fallen angels?
Ok, this took a left turn

It was the battle of the Babylonian and Hebrew cosmology, heliocentrism vs geocentrism, then Copernican Cosmology vs Geocentrism.
The grand deception, the Copernican principle.
How so? @Seeker of Truth
But to what degree is it controlled?
Can one group remain in power throughout the conflicts of history?
It is remarkable that it came back after its destruction and dissolution.
Not really, there are cases of supposed fossilized humans in sedimentary strata, but often they are disputable given the lack of documentation and verification. It is hard to figure out, I doubt it.
Vertebrates make up a fraction of a percent of the entire fossil record, so very few were preserved. Take note of that. Most are marine organisms.
The question of the day is a good one
๐
*Should the UN get involved in a womanโs right to have an abortion?*
That question makes no sense
It said for context that the UN declared abortion to be a human right, then the question asks about getting involved in a human right.
First of all, if you want to consider abortion to be a human right, how would affirming that be "getting involved"?
Getting involved is basically pro-life, by overturning that as a right of choice to a right to live for the fetus.
That is why the previous day question doesn't make complete sense to me
Today's question might seem simple, but it is a bit more complicated, because it is related to internet algorithms.
