Speaking of CNN, they were singing a different tune about those vote machines in 2017...

https://youtu.be/HA2DWMHgLnc

I believe that was projection, this makes it more difficult for us to say Russia helped them hack the 2020 election, which is just a little conspiracy theory of mine after seeing what Putin says about the Democrats and Biden.

@SnowWhite❄ small doe with my crossbow, big doe and a small 7 point buck with my .308

@Winnie37a wish I could kill some of the little pests on my place.... they killed all my turkeys 😡😡

I say small 7, but he wasn't too bad. Would've been an 8 if he didn't knock a tine off early.

@Not Jango that looks like more than fat. Might want to check local disease info. We had a nasty wasting scare for a bit, but that's the opposite of what he has 😂😂

Yeh that looks more like cancer than fat... can't get them that fat even if ya pen them up with sweet feed lol

Bros ol lady got her first buck of the year the other day, he had been gut shot by someone a week or so earlier

Despite living on 100 acres of prime hunting land, I only recently got my first buck. Last year I only hunted with my crossbow and Judge, let a lot walk because I was uncomfortable taking longer shots

I've taken them to 3 diff processors this season, checking out all the menus and techniques

Nice! I'd like to do that eventually. Right now I'm limited on space so I'm checking out a lot of places. Everyone has their own style of sausage spices and such, my fave so far does a really fine grind, but they have spice consistency issues

Nice gator skull! Been a long time since I went gator hunting. Used to help my cousin with his pond in Kissimmee. Think the biggest he pulled out of it was a 12 but it's been awhile since I've had any contact with them

Nice. I love watching birds of prey while I'm hunting

We have several hawks and owls, one owl is massive, at least a 6ft wingspan

Couldn't believe it when I saw it, I was in a 2 man quadpod when it flew right down over me, it was gliding til it got to me then it flapped right above me, shook the pod

Used to see them all the time on the Chattahoochee River, bald eagles had a nest right on the river on a dead tree

Pretty awesome watching them fish

Did ya hear them scream? Freaked me out first time I heard it. Didn't know wtf was flying up on me lol

Those are my spoiled indoor ladies, this is my big tough guy guarding the outside... 🤭🤭

Found a nest in a fence post, they were about a foot down into the hollow center of it

Little better pic of the whole nest

Little fella was buzzing around me, landed on a headlight. Bout the size of a pinky nail

My big doe, she was 127lb on the hoof but as u can see I had to sacrifice both shoulders. One I shot and the other was infected from someone else hitting with an arrow a week before 🤦‍♂️

Yeah some little "hunting club" from Atlanta leased some land down the street. They injure more than they kill. Some folks just don't belong in the woods.

A "non-profit" group that holds meetings in Maui...
Seems legit 🤪🤪

Nice hogs! That one by your nephew is huge! I bet wherever ya got that from is happy he's gone, they destroy fields

Bros business partner thought he had a bunch of hogs on his place, turned out he has a few but the only one really giving him problems was a 300lb boar

It was digging pits big enough to sink a dually

@Butterfly did ya mount the bobcat? They look awesome on driftwood. Big yote there! I've had a few coydogs that big but most plain yote I have are small - 30lb tops

My bro with his 170

This one wasn't that big but the poor fella was just begging to die. Old battle worn buck, estimated about 8 years old or so. Missing an eye and his neck was Swiss cheese from all the fights he's been in. Could barely walk when he came out by my bro

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/776166188299714601/778233739733893130/1101151911.jpg

When we went to pick him up, every single one of my fingers and both thumbs found a hole in his neck. I really don't see how he survived all those neck injuries 💀

@Knotty I've done that a few times, but I've seen folks mess up and the results can be heartbreaking

One of my clients shot for the head, just took her mouth off, she ended up starving over the course of a few weeks

Yeh, made me quit going for headshots

I've carved a few skulls in my time. Laid some ears down

But after that I get nervous about it, figure I can kill another if I mess up some meat

In georgia we get 2 antlered and 10 antlerless tags, more than enough to stock my freezers

I don't have anywhere to shoot that far lol. 350 or so tops on my place. I just don't take those head shots anymore at all. Never know what can happen. Might have bumped the scope on the way out and not noticed, or it could just have a factory defect. All it takes is one wrong variable to throw ya off slightly

@Swizzle innocent, regal, and delicious on rye bread with some mayonnaise. Mmmmm mmmm!!!

My nephew with his first 10+lb fish, 12.3lb blue cat. Bout pulled him out the boat lol

Wow thats crazy. We actually have one that wandered in for rut that looks similar to it

Not quite the low hanging hook that yalls has, but similar style rack lol

Same! I like typicals for sure, that perfect symmetry appeals to my perfectionism, but atypicals are always cooler imo

I wanna get one with a club, nice tall 4 or 5 on one side and a knot on the other

Freak nasty is so sexy

Dammit all. Bumped my scope going in tonight, missed a monster yote

Just glad i didn't run off a nice buck

Need to get one of those. Only really started hunting seriously recently, used to just pop a few does a year to cut the food bill

Go out, fill the freezer with ez meat, and call it a year lol

Friends and relatives were into it pretty hard, and I'd put them on some nice ones, but I never pursued them personally

Lol yeh, main reason I haven't bothered with one yet is I get hot easy, in Georgia our winter is short and brisk, not long and cold

We just got into the upper 30s this week

Usually best time for ghillie is bow season, when ya need to draw them up close

Talking 80°+ here

Thats ball soup weather

Lol

Main reason I want one is winter stalking. When the leaves are damp it's much easier to creep up on something in the dense woods

I wanna get one with my revolvers

Not .454 cassuls either, lol

Tho the Judge isn't far behind with a 3" rifled hollowpoint 410 slug

I'd really like to get one with my .38, so I'd have to sneak up within at least 20 yards for a comfortable shot

Oh yeh, it's doable for sure, just might be harder now that they're getting shot at everywhere lol

My first doe this year I got with my crossbow at 10 yards, if it was gun season I could've popped her with the .38

Rut is dying down now tho, and gun season is in full swing

Extra cautious critters

At least in my area, my bro lives an hour from me in Bama and his place is just heating up

Thinking of springing for the out of state license, but it's nearly $400 with all the fees

Yeh that's a chunk lol

Out of state is ridiculous

Resident isn't terrible, but it's getting higher every year it seems

Yeh it's like $50 here in po-folk Georgia lol

Poor folks lol

Georgia is pretty low on the CoL and annual income board

But prices keep rising steady

Not sure about Tennessee, uncle lives there and they've got some great hunting but I haven't checked into it yet

Bama is for sure, good low CoL and ample wilderness

Loads of WMA in both Georgia and Bama, too

Thinking of creeping thru some of the ones near me, but I hear they get hit pretty hard by the city folk

Oh yeah the plot near Columbus, GA gets nailed by the grunts from Ft Benning, it's practically a no-go zone for anyone outside the area

Bro says lots of the wma near him in bama is fairly secluded too, wondering if folks are psyching themselves out, kinda like what I've done by thinking it'll be too crowded so no point, instead relying on private properties

Nucking futjobs out there

Well, delusional people can do some serious damage

And if they're dedicated to their ideals, no telling how crazy they'll get

Go out for survival training and wake up strapped to a burlap bed in some mud hut

Now that's some intense training. Lol

That might be ur best option, too

🤣🤣

L8r bud

Woot woot! Nephew got his first buck!

Pic won't post...?

Lol seriously? A little blood can't be shown in the hunting channel?

Popped the lungs and heart like balloons

It's a grandpappy buck, back teeth were just black nubs, probably on the downfall
