Hell yea
Now I am? I wasn't before?
well AmericanFreedom was a mod when I last proclaimed my favorite mod
Ah...well, anyways, here is a channel to discuss your hunting and fishing needs. ๐
omw yes I wanted this
thank you!
we counting bow hunting/fishing too, or just the generic types?
hell yea
any hunting/fishing do it up in here
I plan to show off some spear fishing possibly this year
My brother and dad went hunting 3 or 4 weeks ago and shoot a 3 pointer it was about 3 or 4 years old and it tastes pretty good.
<:emoji_15:769426555054194729>
my woman passed up a buck that was 400 yards away and had a 14 point rack. I saw the damn thing through my binoculars but it was around 1200 yards from my stand so I didn't even bother.
I also asked her if her rack also only scored 14 points out of 30 LOL she got mad
bro you gave her a 46% percent rating. . . .
(I rounded down <:troll_face:726878856585281557> )
I hope I can get a deer this weekend. Yall are gonna think im crazy but no joke after thanks giving day you dont see a single deer. When we got on the lease we thought everyone was crazy but nope you wont see a single thing.
Last weekend I saw a doe and two fawns but I didnt even bother because the doe was maybe 70 pounds at max.
There is a 7 point buck that I keep getting on my camera but everytime I go I dont see it.
Where Im at the Amish do deer slaughter drives. Completely legal due to their religion.
doesn't sound super sustainable. :\ do they have a process to sort the deer out?
It is not. And if its brown, its down. Put a big ๐to all the hunters in the area.

^I have thought about this. I only wish it was a realistic option.
Idk @sixfivebyfiftyfive Yellowstone is a pretty big place without any roads. It would be illegal but id think you could keep a low profile enough.
lol, I don't want to break any laws if I can avoid it. We aren't living in a WROL society yet. besides, I have a family (just parents and a sister, my bros can fend for themselves) that I feel obligated to take care of.
I am thinking about building a homestead of sorts tho
that would kind of get the best of both worlds in my mind
Iโd do it right now if I could make the arrangements. Without a second thought in my mind.
Im so tired of this world and people, to fade away into the shadow of the giant pines and never see anyone again besides to resupply on round balls and powder would be bliss for me.
Yeah, I am planning to as soon as I can. I want to go to college first, just because I feel like I could have a better shot at making money and still do something enjoyable, but if I don't get it, I am moving out the midwest to start working for some land of my own.
maybe we should move this to <#728492542177312838> ?
My dad is out hunting, and he got a shot at the 14 point we have. The arrow went right through. Big problem is that there isn't a blood trail. We're really hoping we can find it. It'd be a shame if that meat got wasted.
@ZSLiby Studios find someone who had dogs for tracking them.
My fancy feeder
My dad's going to get in contact with someone from his work. We went out and looked for an hour. We found puddles of blood. He's just going to wait until the morning
My buck this year
Saw the big 14 pointer today. It was a long shot to make with my 30-06 hope to see it tomorrow and blast the thing.
All the deer are small where I hunt, by fort polk, the biggest one ever killed on the lease we're on was 190 pounds.
And when I mean by fort polk their 100000 acre training grounds are a mile away from where I hunt.
My dad went back out to look for the 14 point. Found some new blood. But not enough to track.
A guy on our lease trained his chihuahua to be a tracking dog
It rained last night. So a good amount of the blood trail was lost. But he marked where he found the new blood.
one day me and my dad set up trout lines in a canal by DQ and we came back to check on it and found that we had snagged a turtle unfortunately we couldn't get it out and the turtle died
had a snapping turtle swallow a bobber once :/
there is one pond where I catch more box turtles than i do bass too. -_-
Hope you find the deer soon ZSLiby. Would hate it if the meat spoiled :\
Thanks bro
There's the 13 point.
One of it's tangs didn't split
they look cute
Oh heck yeah there is a hunting channel?
It just so happens to be i shed hunt and bow hunt, here are a few of my sheds
Cool
ooh nice
ya'll make my sheds look pathetic, but I still like em! xD
Holy thatโs a huge white tail
Tall at least
Iโve only got one decent white tail shed
same. the second one is my only big shed
Let me find a pic of mine, itโs a typical 5 with a 6th kicker at the base
ooh sweet
I found it while elk hunting this year, I wasnโt expecting to pick up a white tail shed in elk country xD
omw that's thicc
Itโs a huge one for north Idaho public land
There are soo many hunters that come to Idaho and deer tags are cheap so it makes finding any decent sized white tail on public really hard
I can imagine. almost all the land here in VA is public and I haven't found anything yet, despite there being a heavy deer population.
or at least north VA
south VA is a bit different.
Yeah, luckily they are lowering the amount of non resident tags for Idaho for all game and upping the price, so that means less hunters, less pressure, more animals, better quality animals and higher success rates
Cool
Wow
Thatโs my biggest deer shed
Steve how did you find me
Like I know we talk everyday but how did you find me in this channel on this server xD
Got my heater rolling this morning!
Saw the 14 point buck 30 minutes before legal shooting. Almost decided to say fuck it and blast it with the scar, but thought better of it.
I already have 1 poacher in a black Ford, and I don't want to stoop to his level.
The scar? ๐ ๐ I mean makes sense considering it shoots the same round as a lot of hunting rifles but I've never heard of someone using a scar. <:KEK:726877368601411624>
I want to get into bow hunting and bow fishing, but my family isn't exactly..... Survival inclined, so I never really learned the skill or legal parameters for it. (mainly the hunting)
This is my piece though, really love it and think it would be good enough since its 50-70lbs
I've never bow hunted, but I imagine that 50-70ish pound range is more than ample.
Just remember, water reflects light at an angle and so fish are almost always closer than they appear.
