People seem to have forgotten the meaning of a 'phobia', and just label it as hate.
There is definitely hate toward many different people out there, but there is also just plain irrational fear.

I got my first console, a Nintendo 64, when I was real little and my sister broke my leg.
Long story short, me and like 20 kids were on a giant trampoline, and this big kid wanted to jump from a playhouse onto the trampoline. Everyone got in a circle around the edges of the trampoline, and as he jumped, my sister pushed me into the middle and he landed on my leg, snapping it like a twig.

I can't handle gore, but for some odd reason, it doesn't really bother me in games.

Except for ones like Mortal Kombat

I personally have a lot of things that I believe is wrong, and most of the world would probably disagree with me. But I would never impose my ideas upon anyone. If I had the option to ban or make anything illegal, I probably wouldn't even try to do so to most of them unless there was a good enough reason to do so. My personal beliefs aren't good enough for the general public.

Religion, like pretty much anything, can be used unjustly. My whole family is very much Christian. My parents are pastors, and I have 3 older sisters and we were all raised in the church. My youngest-older sister is married to a man who told my middle-older sister that God told him that he was supposed to marry her (middle-older). She said he was full of crap, and he turned around and married my youngest-older sister claiming that he 'had the wrong sister'.
And trust me, he is a horrible guy that I hope rots in jail someday.
