@RobertGrulerEsq Having a friendly debate with a fellow non-lawyer friend about the cases being brought up and their interpretation of the law. A lot of the state laws say 'shall' which I looked up in a legal dictionary to essentially mean 'must'. My friend is involved in a lot of contract law and feels that 'shall' can be equally interpreted as 'may'. In terms of these state laws regarding elections, how would you interpret 'shall'?
When there's women around that's when you stop behaving
Taxes are legal theft
If you apply the legal definition of theft, yes, but that would be somewhat redundant. The non legal definition of theft boils down to taking property without consent
If you think about income taxes, especially when applied to wage labor, the implication is that the government owns you
Your life ~ your labor
Sure if there's no consent
I assume you're talking about the idea that capitalists steal from workers by taking excess value
To wage labor?
I'm not getting how that is theft though
The worker agrees to the terms of the trade, their labor for X dollars. There's a contract recording the agreement
Well theft as I understand it is defined by a lack of consent. When there's a contract recording consent by all parties that's a difficult claim to make
Again, I'm not seeing how trade = theft
Even if one party benefits more than the other
As long as everyone agrees to the trade, it's not theft
A form of involuntary trade, which is another way of saying theft
I don't know, how was I manipulated
How is it the employers fault that you face starvation? That's a consequence implemented by nature. Going to jail or being shot by the police is a consequence implemented by people, not nature
Your argument is like saying it's okay to rob people because if you don't you might starve. The truth is you have other options, like finding a job, or starting your own business, or asking for charity. The fact that nature requires you to gather resources to survive doesn't justify forcing people to give you those resources
For these 'laches' dismissals, does laches imply the crime/harm actually occured?
Or does it mean the remedy is too extreme so the court didnt even consider whether or not it actually happened
Any of them; the PA case for example
Yeah I get that part
Is the court saying "yes this happened but you waited too long" or is it saying "you waited too long so we're not even going to look at it"
Does that mean they were correct about the process being illegal
Im just using that as an example for laches in general
Gotcha
So generally when there is a dismissal for laches the merit is sound
Yeah I just feel like if the case was fundamentally flawed the court would dismiss based on the facts/law rather than laches but I dont know a lot about it
The district court in PA ruled on the merits and suspended certification and then the SC dismissed for laches without any comments on the merits
Crowder did a video like that too. He put out a bunch of low caliber rifles painted black and high caliber rifles, AR's etc painted pink and people pointed at the black ones and were like oh that's an assault rifle that has to be banned for sure
lol i'm an ancap don't get me started on the state
"Guns should be banned....except for the police enforcing the ban"
or the commies that want the police eliminated entirely...who is going to enforce your socialism then
state owned
ancap
pick one
can't have useless eaters
Speaking of bombing, giuliani is carpet bombing the judicial system on monday
Yeah the courts don't seem to think the constitution is important enough to rule on so I'm not sure what the point is
I expect more laches
A lot of history prior to the modern era was written by wealthy merchants and aristocrats that did their best to avoid the peasants as much as possible
Sol people have an idyllic view of those times
Lin wood is either a lunatic or a genius
We'll see
Paul Johnson has a great book on Marx' personal life
He really was a scummy individual
When Marx' best friend Engles told him that his wife died his response was essentially 'dang that sucks bro...by the way send me some money and hurry up about it'
He knocked his maid up
The one that he paid $0 per hour
Forcing this corrupt system to expose itself is a win
The question is whether or not the public will do anything about it
The thing people don't realize, especially people upset about whats been happening, is that our system has ALWAYS been this bad
But no one was fighting it so no one noticed
Polycentric law
That's the only way around it
Trump believes in the constitution
Perhaps, but there's no one person that can fight the system
The concept of a government of the people requires the people to take responsibility
If you're going to submit to authority then you'll get what authority gives you
Nah if you remove the illegal votes he won
Is counting votes with no chain of custody fraud?
Just because it's not fraud doesn't mean it's legal
Votes that are not legal

contrary to or forbidden by law, especially criminal law.
I think we'll find out more on Monday. Giuliani's people are researching but without help from legislatures to issue subpoeanas I think they can only review samples
Like in AZ
Really
That's how you know you're in a 3rd world banana republic, elections are about who's better at cheating
My wife grew up in a country like that and that was literally her opinion. "Why the fuck didn't trump cheat more than them?" 100% serious
They used dominion in my wife's country like 12 years ago and had the same problem
It was a big scandal
Yeah perfect company to bring into swing states
Who is james
OH a deboonker
460,000 votes in georgia that have no chain of custody
not fraud but not legal
Why would we want someone that is a chinese spy and participated in a fraudulent election to call in the military
Not really
Typical corruption
It seems new to Americans but in an overall sense nothing new here
Truth^
Honestly I would prefer secession over trump flipping states and taking the win
Ohhh I know who James is now
He was trolling me the other day
I asked a question about laches, did my best to make it a general question about how the concept applies to the law and he spammed me with @'s about how terrible trump is
It was really weird
Communists aren't people
Fax
Instead of whining about how big of a commie handout people get what Trump should do is arrest the governors screwing their people over with lock downs
Maybe seize their assets and hand them out
States rights ended when the federal government responded to secession with war
the government that was preventing secession
If you can't say no and abstain then you have no rights
Pretty basic logic
Well speak for yourself, I've always been pro secession
Polycentric law and secession are very similar
Sidney powell dropped everything she has if anyone is interested
Its almost 300 pages
