Thats the fundamental problem about apologising for faith in God using morality as a basis, you ostensibly state that those who disbelieve in God have no basis for their morality and therefore ust be either amoral or misguided

Civilisation didnt exist in general until fairly recent history, therefore morality devoloped as society developed
