Ah, I have come back to see discussion on Fallout.
I thought Quebec was the France of America.
Yes in North America
Quebec is so French that they reject English words adopted by the France's French.
I don't have boobs to know is this is comfy.
Damn feather furry bastards, I am getting out the giant bird cage on fire to sanctify y'all with fire!
Okay, I am going with the skeet shooting option for the feather furry bastards this time: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/407984648266711078/481178189159333921/maxresdefault.png
Incendiary rounds for sanctification of course.
Well the gun is FLAMING.
Yes
Shame he is done with youtube.
Has the Americans ever stopped a genocide? Aside from sort-of the Holocaust.
Because their solution for Rwanda was "It is not a genocide if we don't call it a genocide."
The only way they can intervene is with trade sanctions. Unless South Africa invades someone & the UN votes to put a stop to that.
What weapon deals are you talking about? there are A LOT of them.
They won't last in Africa, they'd reject their LGBT rhetoric before they can complain about pronouns.
I type slow
Sanctions can work, they are part of the reason why South Africa had to give up on Apartied.
What is the country that gives you a "Baby Basket" for having a child so that you can care for them better even if you are broke?
So uh, breaking out the ole eugenics argument, eh....

But it does matter that it exists & does get used without sedition, why would you assume that people could only use it to be a jerk?
& if there is more than enough people people who disagree with the downvotes, then they can equally as easily upvote it.
I am acknowledging the fact that one aspect of the core functionally of the site can be used & abused in certain situations, but there is more general upsides to the voting system for for a site made on voting on. If you don't like a democratic system of organizing by the appeal of masses who use it, & would rather have a linear feed of content where the newest content is the most important content, then you can sort by new (& if you are in a thread by old instead if you please), or go to another one of the hundreds if not thousands of forums on the internet that does that. Also downvotes remove stuff, if you truly are are interested in the opinions that drew the most aiur, then you can scroll to the bottom.
What is the goal post I moved?
Sorry, I meant to use the word someone instead of you, this was a poor use of word for target subject.
Look, reddit gives a poster the "right" when the don't break the rules to state their thoughts, a poster just does not have the entitlement to receive equal attention as all other posters by all audiences regardless. If someone goes to the town square, they might have the place to express their opinion, but the audiences can ignore them because the speaker's opinion is uninteresting, the audiences can stick out their tongue at the speaker, the audiences can call the speaker's opinion garbage to encourage them to shut up, the audiences can recommend people ignore the speaker, the audiences can pay attention & praise another speaker over first speaker who is siting alone, the audiences can protest so loudly that they drown out the speaker with their own speech, but despite the control the audience has react to the speaker, they can not remove the speaker.
Well there continuing the analogy, an alternative to the public square situation that what reddit provides, & that is formal debate environment that screens the audience only to those who are sit still & be quiet to provide a safe space for the speaker to have a platform regardless of their opinion.
Though I have difficulty thinking of stuff like that aside from platform that allows people to post content that people will have to go out of their way to find & mute comment sections.
Beemann is also disregarding that I am using the "public square situation" as an analogy.
I did also state that reddit gives a poster the "right" when the don't break the rules to state their thoughts, this analogy is used to highlight the limits of base user to user interaction where a base user has no authority to remove another base's post, the only individuals who have the authority to do that would be the rule.
I highlighted โโrightโ when not breaking the rulesโ as the obvious limit to even โrightsโ having. Let us highlight The USA, the high point of the right to free speech still doesnโt allow people to make violent threats, allows you to sue people under the law for libel & slander, & have stance of authorities to use power the are afforded to shut people under matters of national security... Some right that is.
I am thinking we are getting out figurative grounds of the analogy, Beemann, that I am trying to use to illustrate the base user to base user interaction, because in real life you can kill someone to shut them up, all analogies break down due to not being the literally thing it is being used to compared to. The reddit rules, moderation, & administration structure is not the semi-similar, but not a government structure that we assume acknowledges, allows & limits the bounds of laws & rights . The concept of the analogy is that ignore & criticize content while propping up other content with attention & praise, both content that was allowed to exist to compete against the other.
But what can a mob on reddit actually do? Sure, the can upvote stuff & downvote stuff, they can comment on stuff, but they can't remove stuff.
The same can be done by not commenting early enough on a post, is it unfair to those who did not jump early enough in on content. Or say discord where if you post something you want to talk about some but fifty spam them out , then is it not unfair opinion is drowned out. Even if we were to take out those downvotes out of reddits system, then people the most popular opinions floats to the top, while the unpopular ones don't. Each of these systems works to the benefit of one group over the other, but depending on what you want for the structure discussion & content organization, you are probably going to pick one of them, or a mix them (this one being the one reddit falls into sort-of).
Alternatively you can create a system that outputs content randomly, which is as close of system that is non-discrimatory.
10 users can comment each to displace content a margin of ten guaranteed. If you want the see it then you have to put more effort in by scrolling up.
Heck it would be worse on discord in concept because you can only down vote a post once on Reddit, where as you just need one person to make as many comments as they please to displace someone with a bunch of embedded link. Though that is one downside to the discord structure, not a reason for why discord should be considered terrible.
I guess it fell of a truck
It had chat rooms for months, I have no idea why
It is popular among musicians apparently
Embed ya bastard! I have the levels to do it.
Well there is only one thing to do to an anime furry. Break out the hachi grill boys! WE ARE SANCTIFYING FURRIES TONIGHT!
What about the bastards who say they are foxes trapped in human bodies?
*As it is known & written, I am da britian.* I am alive & this will be sanctified with a thousand suns.
"I want to be a Japanese female popstar idol that is a pro-wrestler!"
Uhg, a Japanophile!
What about the Japanese children's cartoons & comics?
What will man do without Bananya: https://thumbs.gfycat.com/GrimConstantBat-size_restricted.gif
I finished Justice League Dark, that was kinda fun. Constantine was cool.
Kinda a shame Marvel has no game in the animated movie department.
It would be more worrying if they were not by the same person.
Though who ever made this gif, really likes this user considering they upvoted them 37 times.
Though none of them are for these comments.
Okay, I wanna ask this, the here does not like Trump?
I personally find him to be a cartoon character in flesh that has been made president, & his campaign was some high octane levels dishonesty, hypocrisy, flip-flopping, & delusion. He has chilled off after the election, but he is still outrageous for a president.
I will definitely say they give him more attention, especially during the election when his run was a spectacle.
Ah, Yahtzee's let's drown out/lets plays. I still go back to rewatch them. Shame it ended since he moved to America, but it was grand while it lasted.
Sweet
I know the Americansโ healthcare system is bizarrely rigged, they get far less bang out of their buck. Their private insurance gouges them, which would maybe makes sense if it was not paid by the government, though it is still paid by the government at a shockingly large amount: http://www.crfb.org/papers/american-health-care-health-spending-and-federal-budget
I wish mosquitoes stopped existing.
I think roaches are decomposers
Though there are many other things that can do their part.
Apparently a lot of insects are pretty good food sources, though people donโt want to eat bugs.
I will have to say, I have seen countries celebrate failed revolutionaries before their country was able to gain independence, but it is strange seeing the Americans still have this much reverence for their own failed traitors.
It is not the recognition that is the strange part, there are many people who despise Hitler & the Nazis, but still acknowledge & greatly value people studying him & his regime in the greater culture. It is the loving veneration the Confederation still receives that is strange.
That is not really something you can compensate for to the people who want the confederate statues gone, it is like telling the holocaust survivors for every one statue commemorating the Nazi holocaust organizers that there are two for the holocaust memorials.
The bright side is that they can't change the Japanese, down side is the might drive a wedge between Japan & the West for licensed distribution.
I'll lay this down here, but I am a massive fan of Yuri (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuri_(genre) ), I was kinda hoping with all this push with social progress in the west would create decent home grown equivalents to pop-up, but they still just come across as more plastic than sincerity the sake of representation or filtered though an extremely distilled version of western LGBT culture that is only for those in the western LGBT culture.
I would not post it here if it was inaccurate, it gives a pretty decent summery of what yuri is.
Also the usage of the word in the east vs west.
The Kase-san series is getting an OVA
The only ani-tuber I watch is Mother's Basement (mostly for his non anime stuff) & youtuber who focuses on yuri in anime & manga.
The other Youtuber I mentioned is Zeria, she focuses on Yuri, I found her through her Re: Cutie Honey recommendation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wUHjNCzaCo ). I see her on GamerGhazi arguing with people who condemn anime as misogynist because "men can like it."
We should maybe keep in mind that that Crunchy show does not exist yet & maybe it will be great or utterly terrible or just plain mediocre. It would have probably gotten way less flak if it was just about the show they were making instead of marketing the creative teams diversity.
I don't even see that show as anime, I just see it as an American anime streaming site licensor diversifying into domestic animation.
Personally, I don't treat the term "anime" as a sacred cow since it is a term used outside of Japan to distinguish it from other animation, whereas in Japan it is used for all animation. But I will up hold as technical term to distinguish anime as a spicific subset of cartoons made by the Japanese (disregarding that they sometimes cheaply outsourced labour) usually for the Japanese primarily (even if it might not be exclusively). *I type slow*
Same as anime, made by the Japanese for the Japanese
The are called manhwa, like manga & anime, they are only distinguished for where itis made from.
There is also one for chinese comics.
Manhua for Chinese/Taiwanese comics.
Prefer referring to anime as "Japanese Children's Cartoons" as my joke name for it.
Which is why Kill la Kill is my favorite Japanese Children's Cartoon.
70's Japanese Children's Cartoon
We posting Cutie Honey OPs now!?!
Take dat bak U!
Mean.
I am posting this with the other CH ops: https://youtu.be/jCX77Je16fk
*WE'LL BE A GLOBALIZED COMMUNITY*
Especially children won't care.
I blame donald: https://i.imgur.com/7Km2aet.png
Also the Japanese don't care. Sailor Moon, Stevens Universe, Ultimate Spider-Man, Dragonball, My Little pony, Power Puff Girls, Power Puff Girls made in Japan. All anime to them.
I a surprised they have not created an anime (Containment) channel.
