All I did was message the page asking for some pointers of where to go if I was looking for like minded individuals, that would like to train, and form a community and I was sent this link. I get we're trying to expand the community but just today alone i have seen multiple people say things in this chat that would put all of us in danger if they acted out. Terroristic threats are real even if you have no real intention on acting out on them.

I am in no way saying we shouldn't be serious about "our common goal", but I don't intend on jumping up to arms for some dumb ass that broadcasted he was committing a federal crime. I believe whole heartedly in our freedoms but we are weak, a lot of the country already hates vocal gun owners as it is.

And I agree its 100% unconstitutional, the assault weapons ban is unconstitutional, 99.9999999% of gun laws are unconstitutional. So I'm currently looking for companies that make quality AR's comparable to SOLGW in the price range of $1,000 to $1,800 (5.56 nato and preferably in stock)

Any suggestions? I was told sionics and BCM make quality rifles im just looking for more opinions

Optics aren't a big deal for me right now, I'll get one down the road when I'm 100% comfortable with the platform and realistically don't need it

The 16 would work just fine like I said its anywhere from country to downtown Charleston around me, weight isn't a huge deal. As long as its not unreasonable

I believe you, I just learn a little differently. I'm better at having something complete in my hands and gutting it to learn. Plus my only experience with AR's is with a very clumsy rifle so I'm not certain on which parts and tolerances I prefer
