I am trans and I think there are only two genders. I also believe people have the right to call themselves non binary. But, I think any gender which cannot be expressed by a direct correlation to primary or secondary sexual characteristics is not a gender but rather a personality.

When I was born, I was born male. I will always be a biological male (this is my *sex*). My *gender* as I grew up turned out to be male as I learned what I like and what I don't like. However, as puberty set in and dysphoria followed, I felt the need to change my *gender* to match my desired sex.
