1: I want you to define how this *community as a whole* operates the Means of Production. Moreover, what are the means of production? Socialism is an economic ideology, it is not concerned with class warfare, that is a different subset of ideas.
In Communism, people are not paid. Wage labor is not eliminated in Socialism and eventually turns into a Communist Society
