Hello
No way I'm going to read this whole conversation
You're actually arguing about whether the original Bible was edited ?! Seriously !?! Of course it's been edited. Everybody thinks it's been edited. Even the Catholic Church thinks it's been edited. Every time it is translated it is edited. Translating is editing
you have to be retarded not to realize that translation is editing that's why the Catholic Church murdered people for translating it
Everybody that tried to translate it out of Latin got murdered for hundreds of years by the Catholic Church
And putting it in Latin in the first place was editing it extremely
I can't believe you guys are arguing about whether the original Bible was edited
They were a bunch of different books. They still are. All of those books were edited individually as well as all together
Translating it is editing it. That's why the Catholic Church murdered everyone that tried to translate it into anything other than Latin.
But putting it in Latin in the first place was editing it
And it's not just one book it's many many books
I absolutely did murder anyone that attempted to translate it
You need to read history buddy
Translating the Bible into anything other than Latin was a death sentence
I'm saying something that is absolutely obvious. I can't believe you guys are having an argument about whether or not the original Bible was edited.
That's like having an argument about whether the original Bible has words. It's an absurd and ridiculous argument. No one in their right mind could say that the original Bible was not edited
The only reason why the Orthodox Church was able to change it's to a different language other than Latin is because they had armies that protected them from the Catholic Church
Translating the Bible was heresy and heresy was punishable by death
The Orthodox church had armies protecting them. There was serious politics involved.
we're talking about translating into English and the only reason it was able to be translated into English is because an army was protecting the translators from the Catholic Church
The first person that put it into English was murdered by the Catholic Church
everyone that tried to put it in any language other than Latin was murdered by the Catholic church if the Catholic church was able to do it
The reason is because translating it is editing it
The only people that weren't murdered or people that had armies protecting them
Anyway the argument that it hasn't been edited is ridiculous
I think we can agree that editing has been done
But translating was not very much editing. The really big editing happened when they chose which books to put in the Bible. They removed all kinds of stuff. they didn't add very much they just mostly removed stuff. No question it was edited.
And this happened over thousands of years.
Taking all of those different books and trying to make one book out of it was extreme editing
Even now the Catholic church has a different Bible than Protestant churches
Jesus Christ was the god of the old testament and yes he does pop in and out and say hi
God did not stop communicating
That is false doctrine
God continues to communicate and he continues to pop in and say hi
He has always popped in and I said hi
He does come down in human form. He is resurrected and therefore has a resurrected body. When he pops in to say hi then of course he has a body
It's not a contradiction to accept revelation. It's false doctrine did not accept that God has always revealed
Proof of what ? All of this is about faith. 100% of it is about faith. You can't prove anything. None of us can prove anything. That's what faith is so important.
Faith in Jesus Christ is what it's all about
There have always been Revelations and there always will be Revelations
To what lines are you referring ?
Each book in the Bible is an individual book as anyone that knows anything about the Bible knows
Lines in that book are about that book
There cannot be proved otherwise faith is irrelevant
Faith is critical
Everything is about faith. It's not about proof. If you must have proof of everything then you have no faith
We can't prove that Moses parted the Red Sea. We can't prove that God appeared to Moses.
None of these things can be proven
It's about faith exactly
If you saw Jesus an hour ago then you have a personal relationship with him and that's your business
You don't have to prove it to me
I don't have to believe you but I might
If you have proof than faith is irrelevant
But faith is everything
We have no proof of any of these things. It is all about faith. It is about testimony. It is about a personal relationship with the savior
Well if you're an atheist or agnostic then you don't have much faith in Jesus Christ but no one's forcing you to
I want to change my picture but it's not letting me do that
The Bible is all about faith also. Can't prove anything in the Bible is true
The second coming is not just about him arriving. He arrives all the time. The second coming is an event
You misunderstand what the second coming is
In the second coming he shows himself to all people as the savior and the Christ
It is just labeled the second coming. That doesn't mean that he didn't come before the first coming
So what you're saying doesn't make sense does it
There are many more than 2 arrivals of Jesus Christ as we well know
We don't have anything called the first coming
Well you're welcome to believe that
I believe that Jesus is not silent
I believe that Jesus is personally involved in his gospel
Jesus has always been personally involved
I respect you saying that you're agnostic
So many people pretend to be atheists
Those people tend to be very annoying
You are interested and having a real discussion
That's good
Why not ?
I understand why you might believe that but I don't think so. I don't know how often he appears in the flesh. I think most of the time it's just to an individual and for individual purposes I think he does appear in the flash on a regular basis.
But when that happens the vast majority of the time people don't go around talking about it because it was in a personal experiences
Yes of course the vast majority of the time it is the holy spirit through which he communicates with us
I think it would be a very special occasion if you were to appear in person but we can't know how many times he does that.
I have no idea. It could be once every 10 years or 10 times a day. Beats me ... But there's no reason why he wouldn't do that
I don't think it matters
I think Debating something that doesn't matter
I want to do something else too
It was good talking to you
