I think that art is subjective per person. But to be considered good is another story. It takes talent, practice, study and time. I've seen modern art pieces that I dont particularly like, but they obviously have some level of talent (e.g. making their own paper and paint out of the soils of different parts of the earth, etc.) but that in itself does not mean they have value to a culture, as you said.
But I'd like to reiterate that true art does take time and patience and practice. It needs to be outstanding to some extent, in my opinion, something that is original and unique to the artist. I would even go as far to say that tracing existing art would make that traced piece not even a candidate for the definition of "art".
Health and education, in my country there is a huge health issue yet also it is taken advantage of, for example being prescribed paracetamol rather than just buying it for 50p. So I'm actually 50/50 on health.
What is it like to live in Romania? I knew a guy from there and he never said much about it, but he chose to study in my country for whatever reason.
it can't be worse than the uk, surely?
Where I live is just full of.. I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to say the slur so I'll just say transexuals, homosexuals, transrace, and in general degens.
And people who are nationalist but take it the complete wrong way, and use their "pride" to justify making stupid decisions.
They are EVERYWHERE in Scotland. Do not come here, ever, unless you want to see couples shagging each other in every alleyway regardless of gender.
@Deleted User that is good for the first part, i wish that happened here, because it's the opposite
I want to go back home. I haven't been home since I was 6. Scotland is the worst country in western europe i swear. hate it here.
i went to a club and legit had to ask someone's gender because i wasn't sure what they were.
and they looked at me all offended.
I'll never go to LA. Only place in the USA I've been is Florida, Orlando, and no one there spoke english except in the disney parks.
London is really bad yeah but try scotland. It's a sea of brown.
I had to use a translator when I was in Florida because they all spoke Spanish.
Cocaine is the biggest drug in Scotland, it's used more than anywhere in the rest of western europe if i remember correctly.
I don't mean to offend, but most of the homeless here are romanians pretending to be homeless, at least in my city.
Does that mean krokodil?
i just saw the k and assumed
I'm aware, I know a song about it
ya krokodil krokazhu, i budu krokadit
those are the lyrics lmfao
Yeah I know of it.
A lot of teen here take valium/diazepam.
They take 200mg and pass out for 2 days straight.
In Scotland, we have protestants and catholics. each team has a football team assigned to them, rangers for the protestants and celtic for the catholics. rangers wear red white and blue and are generally loyalists, where as celtic wear green and white and are generally loyal to ireland. stabbings happen often here over this. the country is split right down the middle by these two groups, sectarianism is a huge issue.

what's you guys take on alcoholism? how do you overcome it? how do you know when alcoholism is approaching?
Oh dear.
๐
And how would you say you'd overcome such "cravings"?

It's hard to imagine the person in question doing the second because they're already doing the first.
Person in question also takes valium/diazepam on a daily basis as a medication, but I'm afraid one day it'll turn to addiction since that's how that drug works.
It's more addictive than heroin.
Schizophrenia/EUPD(BPD) and anxiety
she does
bullying in school as a kid, amongst other issues caused all of this
people don't realise what mere stress can turn into.
they're also on another 2 meds, one for the bpd and schizophrenia and another to stop the side effects (drooling etc)#
nasty, nasty stuff
oh yeah, she has catatonia when she's extremely stressed
its like, she just stares into space for hours
i try to move her and she pulls back into her original position
which is usually really weird and/or uncomfortable for a normal person, like arms hooked over the shoulders or under the knees, or knees over the shoulders sometimes
that is gorgeous
id go horse riding in a field like tht
that*
or even set up camp or something
looks really nice
first of all, because i love the sound of rainfall on my tent
i use saxon/norman/viking tents, they're comfy as heck and you can even light fires under the canvas because it won't burn.
nah, only about 10 minutes
it's worth it
i have a lot of experience with those kind of tents
at some festivals i sell furs with the whole getup just to be authentic i guess lmao
people love it
it's good to get into a trade at least
same here, i love it
but where i live you can get 4 seasons in one day
10/10, would sit on that bench and roast chicken
most of the year except summer, we have snow on the mountains
so you can always see it
looks like this
we don't call them mountains, we call them hills
so a lot of tourists get confused and unprepared when we tell them to go hill hiking
it's good though, i climbed a decent sized one in point shoes and it was ok
maybe it's just in my blood
the further north you go in scotland, the more mountains there are
that's sick
biggest one ive been up is 4412.73ft
yup
that's awesome, i love hill climbing.
which mountain was it?
o shit, i would LOVE to go there. i'm actually planning it on it later this year, we are gonna stay in the viking hotel.
i understand a little bit of icelandic, so it should be ok, although im expecting a lot of people to understand english anyway.
i want to visit the blue lagoon
it's similar to norwegian sometimes, when it's spoken, like some words are the same so i can make it out
i know them all except danish and faroese, because that's the one that is most similar to old norse.
i can read danish for the most part but not speak or hear it
is there a channel for posting music?
i can't seem to see one
alrighty
thanks
fantastic album that everyone should probably know, it was taken down from YT for obvious reasons but it's still absolutely mind blowing.
If politicians lie, especially about something major, or make a promise then don't follow up to it, I think they should be punished for this but I'm uncertain as to what extent, because it really depends on what they lied about.
tfw no mic for vc <:sadcat2:591696072229912579>

what is the better spirit: rum, vodka or gin
i genuinely can't choose, but rum makes me feel like a pirate
vodka i enjoy straight, and gin is supposedly for psychopaths
it does the opposite of pacify
