In any case Fascism cannot be Centrist

2020-01-08 08:44:14 UTC

fascism is identical to libertarianism

@Deleted User Fascism is economically centrist, culturally right wing and authoritarian

2020-01-08 13:46:14 UTC

So not far right

2020-01-08 13:46:49 UTC

2020-01-08 16:26:05 UTC

Centrism is saying: "Yes, but only _half_ the foreskin."

2020-01-11 01:10:55 UTC

Alright so i got into an argument earlier with a couple of discord trannies

2020-01-11 01:11:01 UTC

And i need clarification

2020-01-11 01:11:59 UTC

Would you define Art by something that is interpreted or by a talented piece that is driven by a virtuous purpose?

2020-01-11 01:13:21 UTC

Because my conception of what defines Art is, is a painting, design, etcetera that is defined by purpose, virtue, and have a valuable state within culture.

2020-01-11 01:15:37 UTC

Well I agree with your definition

2020-01-11 01:24:11 UTC

I think that art is subjective per person. But to be considered good is another story. It takes talent, practice, study and time. I've seen modern art pieces that I dont particularly like, but they obviously have some level of talent (e.g. making their own paper and paint out of the soils of different parts of the earth, etc.) but that in itself does not mean they have value to a culture, as you said.
But I'd like to reiterate that true art does take time and patience and practice. It needs to be outstanding to some extent, in my opinion, something that is original and unique to the artist. I would even go as far to say that tracing existing art would make that traced piece not even a candidate for the definition of "art".

2020-01-11 01:28:08 UTC

art is whatever one defines as art, really

2020-01-11 01:28:23 UTC

I am art

2020-01-11 01:28:26 UTC

It can vary from person to person I'd say

2020-01-11 01:28:36 UTC

Humanity is art

2020-01-11 01:28:50 UTC

Like

2020-01-11 01:28:53 UTC

I know it's a joke

2020-01-11 01:28:53 UTC

but

2020-01-11 01:29:10 UTC

"Is hentai art?"

2020-01-11 01:29:30 UTC

You can't really exclude it while including other pieces of art and maintain a fair, consistent definition of art

2020-01-11 01:30:07 UTC

Art's a concept created by humans, it doesn't fit into a neat box

2020-01-11 01:31:23 UTC

No better combination

2020-01-11 02:06:37 UTC

Art is an individuals interpration of an individuals self expression

2020-01-11 02:06:56 UTC

Through a creative medium

2020-01-11 02:09:57 UTC

I'd say Erotica is art, nudity and sexuality can be displayed in a tasteful manner that isn't pornography

2020-01-11 02:10:09 UTC

But hentai is pornography so I wouldn't say it's art

2020-01-11 02:12:26 UTC

The point of hentai is to crank one out to anime tiddies you aren't sitting there going "gee willikers this artist really wanted me to examine the beauty of the female form"

2020-01-11 03:16:12 UTC

disagreed.
