In my case I left the US about 2 1/2 years ago and moved to this part of the world.

Well, learning the language is hell, but the main thing is finding a place and a steady source of income.

It took me a year to get the latter (income). I wasn't sure I could make it.

As for me, I'm busy working my online job 17 hours a day. So I miss out on all the FUN.

Yeah. I'd die without A/C for sure. I spend most of my days just holed up in my air conditioned bedroom/ home office.

My divorce left me almost penniless. So I'm busy rebuilding my nest egg --- from scratch.

I was living out of a car for a few months but I said F---- it, I'm gettin' the hell outta the US.
