Hey guys,
I help moderate a large discord server dedicated to internet history archival and am looking to write a news post about the up coming Article 13 vote to send people off to contact their MEPs. I'm wondering if I could get some insight from some of you EU dwellers since I'm a burger and am a bit out of touch with how the whole MEP thing works. Do you guys vote for MEPs? What do you hold over them if they decide to pass Article 13? If you guys have any info about this, it would be great.

So I was watching the latest video and something occured to me after reading the pinned comment. Why don't creators make a different youtube channel, upload all their videos in private unlisted links, and then content ID claim the video but wait 10 days to dispute it so that they are paid add revenue for the first 10 days the video is up which appears to be the time period where the most views are gained. This would also have the added benifit of making it not possible from what I can tell for Onion Boi to claim the vids him self. I'm not a creator my self so I don't have a lot of xp in this game, but this seems like a logical fix to Youtube's useless system.

The point is to lock the add rev to your claiming account for the first 10 days of the video's life span. This would provide you the majority of the rev and also allow you to put adds on the video even tho it's not elligible.
TFW Youtube can't deal with it them selves.
