but unless you play in national leaugues theres no money part of YOUR career, just your college coach
I used to think that an appreciation for the arts would help you climb your way out, but now...
music teaching is maybe important. how else to gain classical training or whatever? i had bad music teachers and wasnt interested in it til later, then i learned how to make computer music by myself. technical help would have been awesome
Nah, it isn't important
just because youre not a professional musician doesnt mean your music training isnt benefitting you
it cant be important to everyone. its important to have it available
I don't see how it can be useful as anything else then a party trick
lots of products require music
Popular conception: Music and art makes you smarter
Reality: Smart people are drawn to music and art
most people don't make that kind of products@M4Gunner
In a poor area, it's a matter of priorities. The immediate problem is poverty, not lack of cultural enrichment.
most people dont cure cancer
music will spring up in those areas naturally. they dont get into commercial s††† as much
@DanielKO It's their fucking culture that's making them poor, though
Culture is the problem kids.
if youre poor its not a good idea to go for a career like that if you wanna be an artist about it. youd be smarter to work in production
You don't get an education on how to cure cancer in normal school
And the cancer is culture.
*not in any school really, but w/e*
cancer curing class should be available
no
lies
<:kek:374588841908109312>
people who work like music
You can't have cancer curing class when a cure for cancer haven't been discovered
<:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>
well its like cell biology right?
You can have a class about cancer in general, but not how to cure it
right, it's facetious wording
i mean you get what i mean right? people inclined to do a particular productive vocation should have training available
Sure
I think school should be more specialised for each induviduals interests
If the guy is teaching a music class in the hood, doing a good job would mean teaching them how to record vocals and cut an album on the computer
so i agree
Public schools are worthless, and do more harm than good. Just get rid of them
^
ok i agree
i think a kid of mine would learn much more with me at home
Public and most private schools today are aids
I'm not going to let my child be a social experiment for some state-grant seeking doctoral student who wants to see if gender is real or not
