it's already we vs them, and to the Chinese governement if you aren't the communist chinese "we" then you're as good as dead
I have no sympathy for either of them to be honest. The Uyghur are douchebags and their leader is right on par as Xi in terms of being an awful totalitarian leader
litearlly places fileld with old women and little children
@Deleted User it's like a farmers market but more every-day in a lot of Asia
and their leader is ordering them to bomb Chinese markets for Allah
yeah all the sudden those camps kind make sense - not that I approve of that methodology or anything but if I was a Chinese government official I'd be shitting myself over the prospect of 11.5 million possible terrorists
@MountainMan She
yeah I agree but if I was a chinese government official and I ahd to handle that the idea of camps would cross my mind
and fuck if the Chinese have a concept of human rights
@MountainMan I'm in complete agreement with you here but it's not like there's anyting we can do about it
yeah but just being a Spaniard is bad enough, adding the Christian modifier just makes it extra worse
@MountainMan gays?
he's a great coder. Just not very good at communicating
Communism is worse than a religion because it's a political ideology too
@DanielKO not if you know how to deal with them. Keeping a structured schedule is a start
my moral standing on eating meat is it's delicious and that's good enough for me
I'm glad I live on an island that doesn't give foreigners wellfare and almost never grants refugee status
@franti seriously we need young people to fuck a lot more
no we took like 3 refugees last year and I think all 3 of them were Chinese political dissidents
@Twat nah they want mixed race kids too but they don't want people who are going to change the culture or aren't compatible with societal norms here
@radeon it's not a "mixed" country but mixed race kids are practically en-vogue
@MountainMan a lot of black people that come here are african actually and they're generally well accepted
@Twat there is a distinct Japanese "ethnicity" which is a mix of Han and the aborigonal tribes
yeah, I prefered the Subaru badge but the 86 was cheaper and I got it a half year faster that way
yeah the suspension system is completely changed, inched-up wheels + street slicks, secondary EC that cuts traction control etc, and a few little tweaks and minor part upgrades
I only drive technical circuits if I'm screwing around so not a lot of reason to try and turbo it
I'm a super careful driver on the street - definitely don't want to get hit with any traffic violations
but I also have 3 circuits in driving distance that are all affordable, and quite a few touge that I do mess around on
once you get up into the hills the cops usually aren't around
I have 3 tracks (ALT Tsukude, Mikawa Motor Land, Mihama) within ~40 minutes drive, and there's a GymKhanna course about 3 minutes away, and a rally stage about 50 minutes away
hahah Tsukude is like $70 for a 5 hour pack on special
well some of that speech was surely hate speech so I'm sure it's all very progressive
@fsmetal I had to explain this to my wife and she couldn't understand it because it's so ingraned in her that a constitution (憲法) protects the rights (constitutional rights) of the *citizens* of a nation. She was like "why would the US constitution protect the rights of illegals" and I'm like "no, it doesn't, that's the point". A Japanese person who can't read english and has never read the US constitution understands the fundementals of the US contsitution better than this dipshit
"the constitutional rights of illegals" is such an oxymoron
@Thomas Marik Really?
do you mean they have extneded those rights (as an exception), or you did they rule that those rights are to be interpeted as being extended to them (as a rule)?
because if they are making an exception on a sepcific case I could see that, but that's some very "creative interpretation" if they're setting a precident of that as a rule
@Thomas Marik I'm having trouble finding any of the instances you mention
@M4Gunner What are you setting up the VPS for?
also WTF service is that, there's distros that are way out of support on that list
of those the easiest to use for that would be ubuntu 16
Windows server requires licenses and isn't very easy to manage remotely
you may want to just set up a server on a spare machine if you have one if you aren't used to remotely administering things through SSH or things like that
for what you're proposing I'd say ~8GB of HDD space would be enough to set up a basic install
not sure of the load of a doom or quake server but you could actually do most of that on just a raspberry pi with an ~8GB or 16GB SD card
wouldn't be fast but you could do it
ah, ok, throw raspian on it if you haven't already
cool, you can ssh into it?
ooh, you are in for some fun then. SSH is like the first step into l33t h4x0r territory
it's probably one of the most powerful tools out there
if it's on the same LAN then no, but if you want to ssh into it later from outside you'll need to port map to port 80 on the raspberry pi
or set up a reverse tunnel, which is something you can do with ssh 😄
EG, you could set up the raspberry pi to automatically set up a reverse tunnel to one of your machines, take it somewhere and plug it into the network, go back home and then access the remote network you dropped the PI on through the reverse tunnel
hmm, I've been using it so long I'm not actually sure
there must be
basic is just remote shell, which you just do by ```ssh [email protected]```
I'd definitely recommend you install byobu on the remote machine too, so you can have persistent sessions
